this is probably a silly question, but the DB environment variables is giving me an output "variable is not defined" when I build the image or try to run the container... I notice that those variables are being initialized in the compose.yml file but that doesn't seem to intialize the variables on my side... Global env varialbes also doesn't seem to work with it... can you hep me understand how to initialize these variables? or how to solve this problem... maybe at the very least, why this is occurring

Hi Monty, docker can be a bit unforgiving at times. You also need to be sure you add the environment variable values to your Dockerfile as well otherwise it won't be defined. At 6:45 you can see I have some lines with RUN echo "SetEnv.... (see video for full line or github link in description)

can someone help me? when I enter a url that isnt "/", example: localhost/login, the index.php is not accessed and i get 404 not found.

The docker build command fails for me with errors: => ERROR [ 4/11] ADD ./app /var/www/html 0.0s => ERROR [ 5/11] COPY ./app/my-site.conf /etc/apache2/sites-available/my-site.conf

you have to create an app folder in the same path with a index.php and a .conf
