What should i add in the dockerfile if I have a backend folder and the project folder separate and for the project to run, first I need to run the app.js file in backend folder and then later do npm run dev in project folder

Yes. I had to install wsl2. Run wsl -install in command line to install it.

It will be created when assigned. You can name anything instead of app. Docker will target that directory that you have mentioned WORKING in the command.
