20 knots I would argue , but this is how its done . With so many people on all vessels , aft lines could have been easily passed on to side vessels . Any docking is a good docking , where there is no damage .

It is a pretty lame example of Med mooring in about 5 knots of wind. Look at the Greek flag on the boat to port. It's hanging limp. Having said that not so kind comment, as someone posted, any dock maneuver done without damage to the boat or crew is successful.

look at the signal flags to get a good idea of wind conditions. that is more than 5 knts. Probably not 20 knts but the Greek flag you singled out is on the stern where some protection from the wind is offered. even so I'd hardly call that hanging limp. If you've ever med moored a catamaran (or even sailed one) then you'd know the huge freeboard and the tiny mini keel allow a catamaran to be pushed laterally by even the slightest of breezes which is evident by the video posted(one of the huge negatives to catamarans). With a little help from his new neighbors he was able to bring that big beast in to a tiny section of the dock. This was all done with all the pressures of onlookers and a camera to document every mistake that could have been made. Nice job, captain. he deserves a beer.

Thats just someone who doesn't know how to dock a boat. there wasn't 20kts of wind and it wasn't blowing cross. Guys got a twin screw with independent controls and he's trying to steer the boat with the wheel in reverse into a slip.
