I absolutely love Dockside T.V. and both of these guys who are excellent fisherman. I love Louisiana. Lafayette is my hometown where I was born and still have family there.

How are you setting up on the fish? Casting up current and popping it back with the current pushing it back to you as well? Casting Down current? Or across the current? Thanks from Coastal Ga.
@wellchamp1002 жыл бұрын
With the Carolina rig It works best casted and retrieved against the current. A jig head presentation much better throwing into current and working it back with itv

That looked like a Rucker Rig. What's the difference, by the way? My Carolina Rigs use "egg" sinkers....

That’s it. Sinker style doesn’t matter

Learned a new technique today. I'll try it out on the intracoastal and ship channel. I did cringe and stop watching when the big females were mistreated though.

We released like 5 trout that day

Oh no… the Rucker rig with a DOA shrimp secret is out…

Most deadliest rig I think there is, go down to Grand Isle twice every summer and I always do better Carolina rigging a shrimp creole or a ultraviolet nose hooked. Absolutely deadly!

If u fishing deep swift currents it’s hard to beat
@shelbyaaron62 жыл бұрын
Yup, first time I learned to fish artificial was under the bridge at seabrook throwing a small beetle, after that I was hooked.
@JamesBrown-uz3sf Жыл бұрын
What do you mean by “nose hooked”? Are you hooking across the bait?
@shelbyaaron6 Жыл бұрын
@@JamesBrown-uz3sf yes, across the nose of the plastic about a 1/4 of an inch in, with a kale hook. Stays on for quite a few trout, reds, flounder etc…
