I had one of those hovercraft come through the the rigolets train bridge 20 years ago. I haven't seen one since....at least I can verify my story now lol. Thing was huge.

I used to weld on those hover craft, U.S. Coast Guard rescue boats, and Armored Security Vehicles there, at Textron Marine & Land Services, in New Orleans east, on Chef Menteur highway.
