Doom is technically millions of years old since he got thrown into the past to be killed (after having his blood turned to acid, heart turned to stone, and dying at an atomic level), but decided to spend the entire time up until the present day studying magic to beat the guy that did that.

Let's see what Doom & Lex did after Deathbattle: Lex Luthor: -Stops Crime Syndicate (Evil Justice League) and forms Injustice League. -Got into a war with Darkseid, somehow Darkseid was killed, absorbed his energy, & temporarily became the new Darkseid -When he found out Superman was dead. He built a new Superman-themed War Suit, grabbed his fallen cape, & declared himself the new Superman. Then later on the original Superman showed up & grabbed his cape back. -Was nearly killed by The Comedian -Went Q-Anon on his continuity by claiming all superheroes were products of government experiments -Kills himself, was resurrected by Perpetua (who basically was the creator of the First DC Universe & Mother to The Anti-Monitor), and became a half-man & half-Martian hybrid. Then got defeated and return to normal. Doctor Doom: -Lost his intelligence, but gained it back by joining Reed Richard's junior league "The Future Foundation" -Grabbed an Infinity Gauntlet from a dead dimension to bring life back to it -Was removed as leader of Latervia -Became God (as in The God) of a whole world and Universe. -No longer God, tried to straighten his life out & regained his old looks before his face was hideously scorched. -Became Iron Man because he was paying back debts by stealing, hacking, and modifying Iron Man's most recent armor (In this instance Tony Stark was "dead" at the time) -Became Doom again when Tony Stark, back alive, confronted him & when a demon-possessed Hood scorched his face & had to take Latervia back when a dictator conquered the country. -Taunted Galactus to a fight with his own Cosmically powered herald that Doom created. -Framed, then cleared, of a crime he didn't commit; while AT THE SAME TIME he took over the country of Symkaria. -Killed by Taskmaster, went to Hell, defeated Mephisto, CAME BACK TO LIFE, then defeated Taskmaster (the man that killed him) & M.O.D.O.K. because he was in a foul mood! Lex better hope Deathbattle brings him back because Doom is going to curb stomp him so hard that he's going to be walking around with a metal boot up his assl

Outsmarted and defeated a race/army of multiversal gods becoming the new supreme multiversal god of marvel. Took over the planet in emperor doom and only give up because he hated it.

This is a far better fight then most of you think, honestly. Lex has beaten Superman without kryptonite might I remind you. Not to mention he has better suits then just his war suit ( which can already defend against attacks from larfleeze, WHO IS STRONGER THAN SUPERMAN ). He has much better suits such as his dc rebirth Superman suit which relatively levels to Superman and his miniature black hole suit ( Sun dx6 ) which appeared in the latest dc metal comic and is stronger than Superman at this point. His intellect is also higher then dr dooms, he has hacked Batman’s Hell-bat armor ( an entire JL project suit, a suit Batman has beaten darkseid with it before ) and has ranked the 2nd smartest in dc ( being behind Batman of course ). I also don’t think dr doom will be able to become god emperor doom, that’ll honestly be kind of stupid considering the fact that he needs the help of molecule man to actually give him the powers. To those of you who think doom is stronger than iron man ; Iron man has actually killed Dr doom before, is much smarter than doom, and is much stronger than doom ( having the suits : bleeding edge, the destroyer, and GODKILLER ). You guys are definitely undermining lex over here

Personally, I wish Doom got more interesting opponents to match his feats/power/intellect on DB. Doom literally has every counter he'd need, man. Lex doesn't cover his head, Doom can literally reorganize his brain. Lex doesn't have specific anti-magic countermeasures (as far as I am aware) Lex has the motherbox, sure, but Doom literally tanked the Infinity Gauntlet. That thing is supposed to be all-powerful in its universe.

There is no way Lex takes this one. Doom's armor is on par with Iron Man's, he's only second to Doc Strange is terms of magic and is just as smart a Reed Richards. Lex doesn't have a chance.

The Hype going into this episode is LEGIT. These are two top tier mastermind style villains who have skills going up the wazzoo. Each has had forms where they have ripped apart gods with ease and rewrote reality itself. I am a marvel stan, so I am rooting for Doom, but dang if this isn't going to be a close fight. In one corner, you have a 8-9th level intellect with a device capable of rewriting reality, in the other is a man able to wield enough magic to shape reality with his bare hands and centuries of experience with both technology and sorcery. This is going to be a fight for the ages.
