Ah? It has allot to do with House on Haunted hill. The killer doctor. The house. Sarah's sister. An actual demonic explanation to the darkness and evil doctor from the first movie

@The One Eyed artist The Darkness isn't even in this film, it just mysteriously disappears. The explanation of the Baphomet statue makes no sense either. The plot of the original film is that the house invites the descendants of the staff who survived the fire, in order for the ghosts of the patients to exact revenge. But in this movie, they are doing the evil doctor's bidding... that means the plot of the first film shouldn't have happened.

@@azalago The only ghosts helping the evil doctor were the nurses and other doctors. The patient ghosts were helping Ariel. Granted some of the more violent patients were also killing the thugs. My only real complaint about the movie is this: if the baphomet idol did possess the doctor and make him do those evil things. Why did the ghosts of his patients still attack him after the idol was gone? Seems odd to attack the puppet once it's master is gone.

@The One Eyed artist No, only the one ghost was helping Ariel. The others that showed the thugs the visions were all immediately killed after. All of the spirits in the house are under the influence of the Baphomet idol (except the leader of the rebellion for some reason.) That's why, as soon as the idol leaves the hospital, the patient spirits destroy the doctor's spirit. But still, none of that really makes sense.

No. They had no reason to touch him. They only killed Sarah because she was the last one to have the journal they needed, but she refused to help them.
