Great video I do have a question at the moment what's your current beard routine and do you always apply beard products once a day?
@BeardsBladesandHair11 ай бұрын
Morning: damp beard, put in beard oil. Wait 10 minutes and heated brush then cold brush. Night: beard butter before bed. If I shower oil only, no butter.

I'm new to beard products because of Dan C. Bearded too. Ive been using Luxurious Bastard butter at night. I feel a softening difference. Not massive, but i feel it. I just ordered this Doctor Nicks one today with their oil and wash to start rotating stuff.

Yeah, I just don’t notice. I asked Dan C on his last livestream what is a totally different butter so I can see if anything works and he suggested Copper Johns and Weatherbeard.

@BeardsBladesandHair I have butter from Dr. Nick's, Luxurious Bastard, Weatherbeard, Copper Johns, and others. I use it at night and most of the time, my beard feels soft in the morning. Sometimes it doesn't seem to make a difference. I have found that I get better results when I use a little more. I like all of the butters that I have. Copper Johns amd Luxurious Bastard are a couple of my favorites.

🫡Respect on your honesty bro but maybe that particular butter isn’t the one for your beard ..Butter is supposed to make your beard soft and hydrated in the morning and you’ll definitely feel the difference…Great vid bro👊🏼

I'm going to definitely try another brand. Anything you recommend as being a butter but totally different?

@BeardsBladeandHair I don't like the butter from BeardOctane too. My skin react so bad too it, and dr nicks butter makes my beard feel the same way . I'm in love with brawbeard company now, awesome stuff from them.

I’ve been using Beard Octanes beard butter (fabricator scent) and I’ve been loving that. I don’t use it during the day but I do use it at night because I was having issues waking up with a dry beard that had a lot of snags, and beard butter definitely made it softer in the morning. Noticed it after a week or so of using it. Haven’t tried doctor nicks butter yet, only have his beard oil.

Funnily enough I’ve had a lot more success with Beard Octane than Doctor Nick’s Beard Butter. I made a review on that one as well: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3_PY6CEdqhmp6s

@@BeardsBladesandHair Oh sweet didn’t see that will check it out! Going through a lot of your vids now, love the work you put in. And yeah Beard Octanes butter has some really nice ingredients like Rosehip oil, Vitamin E, Mango+shea butter, etc. It’s really nice

growing my beard out (first true attempt lasting more than three weeks) and adding oil this time around has prevented itch completely. Also softens the short hairs which my partner appreciates. I second the YMMV. I wet shave too and a lot of the creams/soaps others like just don't work for me. Thankfully I found a small batch shave soap company on Etsy that agrees with my face.

Do you mean oil or butter? This is the beard butter.

You mentioned in the video the difference oil made in your beard. I was kind of going off that.

Even though Dr. Nicks is unscented does it have some nice smell to it?

It really smells like nothing. Maybe a touch like butter you’d put on toast.

I see the difference, I apply beard butter at night time and next day my beard is soft and more manageable , it work for me because i am a night time shower person, i don't shower in the morning i just run thoroughly my beard with warm water to remove the beard butter the most i can and try use beard butter that not contain wax, like beard octane, Doctor Nick's etc. that's my experience with beard butter thanks for the video

I’m finally coming around. My beard is long rough now that tangles are a serious issue. Beard butter helps for the morning comb through.
@kevinfehr59347 ай бұрын
I am WAY late to the game. Folks with thicker beards will tend to get more out of beard butter. Also, folks in a very dry climate. My beard tends to stay softer for longer with butter and it does a good job in taming flyaways without the wax of balm. I'm surprised OP doesn't think that much of it, but...every beard is different. cheers.
