@@Ashleyscinematicjournal Not only is Abra Stone the most badass character in any horror movie EVER (and I wrote a video game character inspired by her, moonlightkids.co for more info) but some of the dialogue moments were so incredible. The part where (spoilers) Danny's monologue near the beginning where he talks about Jack holding a 5 month token, and then at the end when he says to the bartender: "The man takes a drink, the drink takes a drink, and the drink takes the man. Ain't it so dad?" made me literally tear up, as someone who has struggled and have family that have struggled as well. My father passed away last year from many complications; alcoholism being among them. I'm glad you enjoyed the movie, it's one of the best horror movies I've ever seen. Flanagan is an absolute saint.

@@glxxm ohhh!! I’m checking that out right now! 😃 I was so enthralled by the entire movie, it literally felt like the visual representation of poetry the way Flanagan captured Danny’s story. I feel so much more complete! I partly wish I had read the book first, I may still read it but by far one of my favorite 2020 films! 🙌🏼
