Sam Raimi did his Job well just like the good ol days, Film was a borderline horror movie with some Dark AF stuff they did. Not as many Multiverses I was hoping for but still QUITE a few “OH Damn” moments. Had some minor issues with it but overall a crazy fun ride.

Honestly what did you think of the movie? I thought it was bad but very entertaining, It had a bunch of stuff that made it worth watching, like Sam Raimi's directing, MVP of the movie Cloak, the weird yet very indulging fight scenes, (Spoilers) That Musical number fight, was soooooo unorthodox but at the same time awesome. But there were a lot of unnecessary things that made me think the movie was overall bad, first off America Chavez (I don't wanna talk about her name, other then this, you can't say "We'll have to stop her before she takes AMERICA'S power" and expect me to take it seriously) aside from her character being bland as a bowl of water filled staled cheerios, she was mostly there as a plot device.....I say this because SHE LITERALLY PRESSED AN EXPOSITION BUTTON, I ain't joking here, the flashback scene if you need a reminder, and also the AU heroes, y'all really gonna put all these heroes just to get wrecked by Scarlet Witch where the only survivor is Mordo? Really?! And my final problem with the movie was that again it had so much unnecessary stuff, the whole Strange v Strange fight as cool as it was, it was just unnecessary, you could have progressed just fine without it, maybe it's build in for later movies but it's just didn't make sense as I was watching. That being said though it is a bad movie by general standards I still recommend you watching just because it's entertaining, it's even better with an empty mind. But again what did you think of the movie?

The laziest thing the writers do within this problematic script is that magic is a catch all problem solver that has a sliding scale of power level and restrictions that are inconsistent throughout. They effortlessly do things that should be world breaking, then completely forget to use that same spell again. And the amount of times they seem to forget about their portal powers is astonishing.

Expected it to be more grand but way more mind-bending than the first one So many crazy references to the comics and expands more infinite possibilities Might freak out the little kids for sure Sam Raimi's directing signature style is sprinkled all over from the tilted camera angles to the extreme zoom-ins to the kooky score by Danny Elfman He loves making callbacks to his Evil Dead days Benedict Cumberbatch continues to impress as this title character and its a very personal human story at its center amidst all the cerebral imagery and crazy visuals The script is messy and chaotic but still entertaining and it's very comic book-y at this point Not the strongest MCU entry but entertaining in its own fashion

I'm cool with people not liking it or saying it's not the best or this doesn't beat end game or no way home but I'm not gonna lie there where moments in this movie like ok I just wish that could of been done better plus if ya love this film and think I don't care fine although it's a hill to die on more power to you side note I know for a fact secret invasion is happening that's why I'm not so worried about some of the deaths in this one

It seems like this movie just ignores the lesson Wanda learned at the end of Wandavision, and that's disappointing as someone who never cared for the House of M story.

No it doesn’t,Wanda was literally hearing her children call her at the end of the show. Yes,she took down the hex but it was because she was hurting those people without the influence of the darkhold.

Definitely agree with Corey on the multiverse aspect. So far they really have just used it as an easy way to go from 0-100 real quick and fan service. The solid foundation that came with the world building up until endgame is no longer there imo.

I just noticed 616 Christine's Husband looks kinda like Dwayne McDuffie. Anyway for many it may hinge on that one sequence but i'm glad that's what Raimi did with it. Also good coincidence or just good lateral marketing? because we had two Star Trek shows this week as well, one finale and one premiere. I felt the pacing with Wanda's villain turn/reveal was a bit quick but overall still fine, it felt very Doc Ock from Spiderman 2. Anyway that "classical music" fight was very clever and inspired and then that "Dream Walk" final sequence is pure uncut Sam Raimi, it's goofy, gross and terrifying at the same time. Low Full Price.

There is already a marvel comic series that takes place in a zombie apacalypse, where all the marvel characters turned into zombies. At one point zombie-Deadpool's disembodied head joins up with several other Deadpols from other dimensions to form a team. It was so long ago I can barely remember it, but it was a great time. Idk if this movie is related to the zombie marvel series or if it's doing its own thing. Either way, I'm super stoked. Love Sam Rami!!

I don’t really know much about America Chavez, aside from that polarizing miniseries by Gabby Rivera, so it didn’t really leave a good impression on me of the character. I did think she was decent in first MCU appearance. I’m not sure how to feel about Wanda’s heel turn but I guess the writing was always on the wall since WandaVision.

As far as Raimi using older horror movies. The scene where Wanda is chasing Strange and company through the tunnels. I thought of Jack Nicholson in the maze at the end of The Shining.

@@654ethan not just that, both plots center around a mother and her kids. However in Everything Everywhere all at once, it’s the child looking for her mum throughout the multiverse. The movie even has a similar way of transferring someone’s mind from one universe to an alternate version of them.

Definitely up there with Spiderman: No Way Home as far as comic bookish style, heavily driven by CGI approach. And I'm not stating that as a detriment to these films. Can't imagine where they would go next. High Matinee in my book.
