I appreciate all of the lore from the comics that they finally confirm as cannon for Wanda. It was entertaining but I didn’t like the story. I like Sam Rami but it felt like there were two clashing styles through the entire movie where it tries to be scary and dark but then it’ll interject with the typical comic relief the MCU is known for. And without spoiling it the ending was incredibly weak (not the post credit). It just felt like a cop out because they didn’t know how to make it so the guys win logically until someone says something and all of a sudden this character has full control of her power. For me it felt like the movie was overhyped and it made the resolve of wandavision pointless to her character

This is genuinely my favorite Marvel movie since Endgame. (And yes, I also fanboyed out over NWH.) The cameos didn’t make the movie, but they certainly didn’t take anything away. Wanda’s role, Doctor Strange’s arc…. The visuals, which I thought might disappoint but didn’t… it all tied together so well, and proved that a superhero story doesn’t have to be about the end of the universe, or the judgment of all human souls (looking at you, Moon Knight). Sometimes it can just be trying to protect a kid it’s your responsibility to protect, and wanting to see your kids whom you vicariously love.

I plan to watch this movie I have my expectations low because I really want to like this movie. I’m glad I’m hearing people from both sides saying this movie is scary and brutal hopefully we can get a MoonKnight movie with horror elements and brutality

Honestly I wasn't expecting much as I knew the amount of things people are expecting from this movie was kinda huge like every other Marvel character in one movie and I was like bro it's a Dr strange movie not a cameo movie, it's somehow not even possible to get tones of new hero in one movie. But the fact that this was not a fan service but a genuine basic movie of a particular character makes me like it nowadays we watch Marvel for post credit, cameo and all other shit but not for the main content

I wish Marvel and Sony had a better relationship because I think this movie would have worked much better by leaning into making this a follow-up to No Way Home. I would have removed America Chavez entirely, and make Wanda's motivation instead to go after Strange when she realizes that he accidentally tapped into the multiverse in NWH. If Strange had that potential, I didn't understand the need to introduce America as a MacGuffin.

⚠️ SORT OF SPOILER WARNING ⚠️ i was worried it would be the same as NWH, where the whole thing is just “oh wow! these 2 characters from seperate movies are in this one!” instead of showing the struggles of his identity being known, but no. it was really just a scene in it that deals with other characters, the actual focus of this movie is wandas need for her children and strange not wanting to be the villain. i was really disappointed when they made wanda the villan, i was really rooting for her. The whole plot of wandavision is wanda getting over her grief and accepting the fact that vision is gone, but no. instead she goes right back to her kids in doctor strange 2. it may have not been a big deal, but it was still a waste of monica’s character in wandavision. anyway, the movie was really good, but the trailers were really misleading.

Honestly, the marketing of this film was very bad. It misleads the film to being the next NWH when it's not. It showed us pretty much everything before the movie came out (although they kept the villian a secret which is refreshing). And while the movie was bonkers and fun, it was dark and deep too. It's not the next NWH as Marvel marketted it to be. Hence people didn't like the film (and they use previously established phrases like lousy screenplay, messy script to show their dissapointment instead of actual admitting their massive expectations)

The film was pretty weak honestly,the film suffers from having a weak scipt and the dialogue reminded me of something from 2000s film,it was that bad,overall I would give this movie a 5.5/10 rating

This is by far one of the worst mcu film, the main villian commits such attrocities with no motive, and no real attempt at diplomacy, which goes completely against everything we know about said character prior to this film. It made no sense at all.

No motive? Wanda does what she does, to get her children prior to the film she lost everything. She got experimented on, saw her parents and brother die, had to kill the love of her life, then watch helplessly as Thanos brings him back and kill him, then from the HEX, she found peace, she was with her children and Vision and had to eventually give that up as well. Then the darkhold corrupted her with her deepest desires, this is a tragic character, and she longs for comfort and she's unable to come to grips with reality, so I wouldn't say she didn't have a motive.
