Someone mentioned Strange has a photographic memory and that got me thinking...maybe he has that third eye as Darkhold was destroyed in all Dimensions and his Mind is the only repository left where it exists. Maybe the 3rd eye is Cthon's remaining influence? Also interesting, 616 Strange still uses 'forbidden/Dark' magic like the others but where the others use it for personal gain (albeit for "Greater Good"), Strange has consistently used it to help others (not personal gain).

Some things I would like to put out there is that the empty seat might be for Dr Strange before he died. Blackbolt probably didnt know his power still worked even after losing his mouth which made him scream at a small chance of breaking the skin or something. Also Vision probably wasnt in 838 since Ultron was successfull and that their kid would have to be made with magic if he was made. Also Mysterio's script writer could have dreamt about it which would somewhat make sense but it was obviously overlooked by the scriptwriters.

40:31. I think the reason he made different choice was because he realized the downfall of all the strangest was the fact that they had to be the one in control which is another thing that gets brought up every single time he meets someone that met another strange. "You always have to be the one holding the knife". He realizes that he can't be the one that's in control of every situation he has to trust other people to do it. That's what makes him different from the other stranges and it's probably something that professor X saw in him which is why he more or less let him continue with his mission instead being hellbent on killing him like Mordo

"This is different." was a passing thought that came with a grin on more than one occasion watching this movie. This felt like a Marvel title, but at the same time they broke boundaries they've only skirted near in the past. This movie seems like the glue that's going to hold together a lot of other titles. It has the past, present, and future of Marvel all consolidated under one umbrella whilst mingling in darker tones that are going to be necessary for stories like this that have yet to hit the big screen. Such an experience, and I highly recommend seeing it.

Regarding the red lines in the streets of Sinister Strange's universe, I think there's a simpler explanation. I immediately thought they looked like tail lights on cars, as if they were photographed over a long exposure. It seems like the Incursion here is the destruction caused by two universes crashing together, so the lights may be the images of cars in the other universe fading into Sinister Strange's
