I had always wanted to take arts and humanities as subject and career par parents forced me into science because i was a "topper". (I hate that term). I just completed 12th PCM and inn do saalo mein i managed to convince my parents for Arts and humanities, but unko still doubts hai. Generally a doctor after specialization earns around 1.5/2L in a month, no where close to what people assume them to earn, people in coporates earn close to that, most of the IIT people end up in corporates and banks and earn the same 1.5/2L per month.
