I loved this theme for no other reason than the opening credits featured a return of the classic "face in the stars". Anything that hearckens back to Classic Who warms my heart.

@ObviouslyKieran It's probably my third favourite, after the 1963 and 1980 versions. I love the themes with a prominent bassline which we hadn't heard much of in the other "New Who" themes until this one.

@ObviouslyKieran yeah, the 2008 variant of that theme actually features quite a prominent bassline when you listen to it through headphones or decent speakers but I find on average TV speakers it tends to get buried a bit by all the other sounds.

This is brilliant! I was really disappointed that this theme didn't get released in full with the Middle 8. In all honesty I love this title sequence (Although most people hate it!) because it offers something different and sort-of reflects Series 7 Part 2 in its space-y chaos and wonder. Fantastic work! You've earned yourself a sub!

This is one of their better intros (beaten by the Capaldi series' in my opinion), but I've heard the fast spinning galaxies around the Tardis gave people motion sickness to the point where they had to look away when it came on.

So it could've just bee the writer's trying to connect it to that specific villain at the time. Now days it once again doesn't have a meaning other then sounding real cool and alien like.
