From the very first episode of Doctor Who 'Rose', it was clear to me you had the heart and soul of an Whovian, but I also knew this episode would be heart wrenching to watch and you did not disappoint in your reaction. Luckily, this show has a lot more to give and it will be a feast for your caring heart and soul. Onwards to the next season.

I watched this with my then partner back in 2006. I couldn't speak and all she could say was "I don't think I'll ever be happy again." This episode destroyed people. Bless your reaction

I cry for so many Who episodes, not matter how many times I watch them, and this is one of them! If you want to cry lol, you would enjoy Outlander. The emotion is HIGH and the show is good.

10:33 As for the Daleks. During the time war the emperor sent four daleks into the void inside the ‘sphere’ void ship where they’d be safe. They were sent there to think of new ideas on how to kill the enemy. Safely shielded from the war going on around them. But when the Doctor killed all his people and the daleks in the time war. Every Dalek was destroyed apart from one who fell through time and ended up in America (which was from the series 1 episode where you first saw the daleks), and the emperor also wasn’t destroyed, he fell through time and then made a new army out of the dead humans from the game station. After Rose as bad wolf wiped them all out, she officially brought the time war to an end. Destroying every last Dalek. Except, the ones safely trapped away in the void ship from these episodes with their prison ship. When torchwood detected the spatial disturbance that let all the ghosts through, they kept on probing it because they found the power could be used as an energy source. All that probing of the gap however, weakened the walls between the universe. So the sphere void ship managed to slide through into our world, as well as the cybermen. And that’s how these four Daleks get here. So as of this episode, those four Daleks and their genesis arc are the only daleks left alive in the universe. Until the black one teleported away at the end. The Daleks have a whole little mini arc happening in the background of the main story, their appearances are all connected
