Guys it’s perfectly fine to have your own opinions about the video and you’re welcome to comment with suggestions and criticism. However all rude and offensive comments will be removed. It’s just not nice. Ahmad will be posting a video with his reaction to the River speech so you can all stop asking.

Do not google 'River Song'. Ever. It's a long story. Can't be told, has to be lived. No sneak previews.

Honestly I expect the poor guy has had a few spoilers hit him from here or there...heck if you even do something like skim google news you'll get hit with some spoilers for tv shows(Because google is evil). Hoping he's managed to retain a good deal of "spoiler-innocence" though.

The last 3 minutes of conversation right before River dies are VERY important and will serve you well to go back and hear them again! Great reaction!

Tremendous reaction to a tremendous episode & story. It is a shame you couldn't leave in River's speech as part of the reaction as it is brilliantly delivered by the wonderful Alex Kingston.

You're not wrong - probably the finest episode in the first four years of new Dr Who.

Not sure if you had copyright issues with River's death speech, but that was the emotional payoff that everyone was waiting for.

Oww, you cut the singing towers speech. It's a pity. So beautiful. Most of us love that part. However your reaction is as good as always. Happy to see that you are enjoying the journey.

This episode scared the crap out of me back when I first saw it. The idea of being trapped in a virtual reality really freaked me out. The flesh-eating shadows were probably the _least_ terrifying thing in this! Good news is, the scary stuff's all over. _It's not as if the next episode is completely terrifying as well, or anything._
@TheFallofTheEleventh6 жыл бұрын
Here’s a tip but not a spoiler. Everything River mentions in this episode is something that’s to come in the Doctors Future as it’s something that’s happened in her Past but hasn’t happened yet for the Doctor.

Agree with you completely that this is one of the best of all time. Just a fantastic piece of writing and outstanding performances from all three leads (Alex Kingston is incredible as River Song) - and actually all the supporting cast too.

So (NO SPOILERS) I think I know where the name River Song actually comes from. I knew I'd heard it before somewhere, in some way, when I first watched the episode. The two words together have a meaning beyond just a name, we feel that. So lyrical, suggesting something epic, meandering, powerful, a journey of twists and turns, inescapable, naturally beautiful, and I honestly believe Moffat took it from this, by Van Morrison: "I can hear her heart beat for a thousand miles And the heaven's open every time she smiles And when I come to her that's where I belong Yet I'm running to her like a river's song She's got a fine sense of humour when I'm feeling low down Yeah when I come to her when the sun goes down Take away my trouble, take away my grief Take away my heartache, in the night like a thief She give me love, love, love, love, Crazy Love She give me love, love, love, love, Crazy Love"

I know that it's tough to figure out what scenes are important to include in a reaction video but how do you cut River's speech? Can you please upload that part for us? Or do like a bonus video with deleted clips of certain reactions?

I had to smile in the "Blink"-episode, when they are afraid that "The Angels, turn out the light" - it reminds me so much of this two parter. I had to admit I love the idea to meet a charakter which knows the Doctor in the future and came back to a time where they don't know each other. Great reaction!

Another stunning story written by Stephen Moffat, in a truly great season of Who. And you've now been introduced to the amazing River Song! I'm jealous that you have another seven new seasons in front of you, and three more Doctors, while the rest of us have to wait for ages to get a few new episodes.

Yup, in a matrix! Poor Donna hubby😢😢. Normally two parters of any series seem to have a strong first part and weaker second part. But Moffat’s two parters under Russell Davies were both spectacular (are you my mummy, and this one). This was an awesome story. Actually Doctor Who does pretty well with two parters, at least up to this point

Ahmed - without giving away Spoilers, you'll be seeing her off and on throughout the doctor's future episodes. .if your brain feels scrambled at times, just remember that the Doctor and River's time lines are in opposite directions.. this was the Doctor's first time with her, but her last.. and yes, many episodes from now, you'll see the scene that she talked about before she sacrificed herself, and also how the future doctor made a way for this doctor to save her!
