One thing I love about new remixes of the Doctor Who theme is how Segun Akinola's version of the theme has influenced people to do that beat drop at the opening.

@@cunningmunki 2005's theme has a place in my heart, as does the later Tennant ones, but I agree. I seriously don't know why he is as praised as he is, especially considering the lack of output during the late Matt Smith/Capaldi eras, and the repeated use of themes (I Am The Doctor being one of the most repeated ones to the point of headaches).

Nice Whomix mate! I’m premiering a mix on my channel this Easter and I also got someone working on a recreation’ of the Howell theme they got most of the original synths from the 70’s including an ARP Odyssey and a Jupiter 4 it’s all coming together!

Nope. Partly because the idea of trying to mix together Gold's hundreds of variations doesn't interest me very much, plus I don't think there are any decent full-length versions (but I might be wrong)

I didn't even know that was a thing. He's a bit of an anomaly, I suppose, but I can't see how anyone could consider him part of the new series tbh

The 90s by the fandom was called the wilderness years and 2000 would have been the cutoff between classic and new Who, but the format of the show would change gradually and the last two seasons mc Coy would have three parts episodes, 8 mostly three-part episodes, and one parters possibly in the war doctor era, also the episode length would get longer in 1995 onwards and that is why the three parters would be discontinued, the early 2000s would follow the current modern doctor who seasons format
