There will be a wheelchair body double being pushed by Donna in the opening scenes of "The Giggle" probably shot from behind with no attempt at CGI for the face out of respect but sadly that's it. They wanted to shoot more but it wasn't to be. The tribute that RTD did on "Unleashed" & Instagram sums it all up, the old soldier protected his family & stood vigil waiting for The Doctor & Donna 🥰 RIP Bernard Cribbins, thank you for coming back at 93

I'm glad I was able to avoid any rumours and speculation about this episode. I like that they kept everything under wraps. Agree with you that it felt like a mid-season episode. Still mysterious as to who those baddies were. Perhaps we'll never know. I enjoyed it, mind. And it was nice seeing Wilf one last time 🥲

Hi Dan. Glad to see you back doing DW reviews. I love ‘em! What do you think on next week’s regeneration? As it’s the 60th anniversary it should be awesome. However, I reckon they might do it in a style like Hartnell ie, filmed in b/w and no magical SFX. Just the Doctors changing faces…
