The Doctor has a more 'swankier' style to him so far.. I like it! The way he tells Bill about the TARDIS - He just seems more charismatic! And I love it! :D

Yep. To fly one just simply throw themselves at the ground and miss. In order to achieve this it is recommended that you throw yourself forward with your full body weight and the willingness not to mind that it's going to hurt. However it will surely hurt if you fail to miss the ground. The difficulty in doing so so lies in the fact that deliberately trying to miss the ground does not work, and thus one must be distracted so thoroughly you aren't thinking about falling, or the ground, or how much is going to hurt when you fail to miss it. If this is achieved and you suddenly find yourself floating a few inches above the ground you must not think about falling or listen to anyone who tells you what you're doing is important because of you do they'll suddenly be right about that.

Ah yes, that little piece of dialog, someone actually remembered that the great Douglas Adams used to run this show. This line could easily fit in a Hitchhiker's story somewhere.
@PhilipAlexanderHassialis
@PhilipAlexanderHassialis 3 жыл бұрын
That last line ("its the second part...") is once again a reference to the late great Douglas Adams (who worked on the show back in the 80s) along with the Doctor being a university professor. In Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, one protagonist has to learn to fly and he has to fall from a high point and try to miss the ground - it's the second part people get a little stuck on. The writers in this season knew their stuff and their history.

I liked both Clara and Bill but I didn't like how they made Capaldi's Doctor so unlikeable in his first series. They tried that in the 80s with Colin Bakers Doctor and it didn't work. It still didn't work with #12. Thankfully they changed that going forward. The other thing that I didn't like about that series was Danny Pink. Imo he was annoying and just got in the way.

This really makes you realize just how much the music adds to the show, as well as just how mind-bogglingly difficult it must be to act these scenes out in real-time with no idea of how the editing will shape the pace and flow of the dialogue and yet the actors can still deliver enough of a performance for it all to feel natural by the end of post-production.

This is amazing! To hear that entrance and interaction in a speech version is spectacular. When Twelve said " TARDIS for short ", that was 🔥. Bill's entrance is way better than Martha Jones' take 10 years ago, and I still like Ten and Martha to this day; but the team of Twelve, Bill Potts and Nardole, YES!! Season 10 was the best Peter Capaldi had in his three years, and this alternative entrance really sets the tone here. Great video, and I will miss them both by the time of Twice Upon a Time.... but we got some time left.... so....🙌.

Let's hope her Final Story The Power of the Doctor will give Jodie Whittaker a way DECENT exit, and Ncuti Gatwa a PROPER entrance. As for Rose 2.0, we'll see how she performs next year. It's a shame Doctor Who lost its Touch the past two Seasons... which is why Ultraman is now a thing for me now, has been now for the same two years. "it's the second part people normally get stuck on." It's a real throwback to a 4th Doctor and Leela scene. If the Dalek's ever actually understood how a tardis works and how technologically so simple it is for the time lords, then the Daleks would become properly unstoppable. I'm not saying the Doctor couldn't beat them, but he and the Master proved a concept which I dare not say but would require a proper tunneling attack by a tardis to stop.

It's also available on Amazon Prime. But they only have Eccleston to Capaldi. And the f***** up part is: the twice Upon a Time movie, even if you are a Prime member, you still have to pay for to rent.
