This episode's plot may be a crowded mess with what was essentially a whole season's worth of content, but it was amazing getting to see the return of several Classic Doctors and Companions

When she says “you’ll be the first to do that” to the dalek when it said that it means no harm, it might possibly mean that it’s the first time a dalek willing meant no harm with no external things causing the dalek to be good, only the dalek itself choosing to do that. I dunno though because it looks that the dalek has been damaged meaning it could be a similar dalek to rusty

looked it up it's the 100th year of the BBC not the show. That's why it's the Centenary episode not due to doctor who being around that long but because the BBC wanted to feel special on it's birthday.

It makes me think of the Smith and Jones Jones davies did with Martha and micky. Chibnal took a random ship from Twitter and made it canon. I wouldn't put it past him to try and force one with a legacy character

I know it's very nitpicky but 7 really should've been the one to apologize to Ace. Even aside from Big Finish he put her through the runner in Curse of Fenric and one would assume the "falling out" they had would be because of 7's manipulation off screen. Hell I kinda wish Ace was the one who kept calling out the Doctor on their bullshit instead of Tegan.

I recently heard a podcast host describing the Chibnall era as some of the most expensive fanfiction I'm inclined to agree how about you?

The entire new show is fan fiction. Its made almost entirely by fans who grew up with it so I don't know where you'd draw the line. If you don't like certain eras of the show don't worry about it. This is a universe where time travel is a thing and it's in constant use. Anything and everything can be rewritten in an instant making any linier continuity incompatible because nothing is set and everything is in flux. Doctor who canon is a pick and mix. Pick what you like and thats your doctor who canon and it's just as valid as anyone else's.
