I hope Davros succeeds in his plan, so the world doesn't need to sit through another season of Doctor Who.

Every time I see the Davies interview, I'm just laughing so hard in my seat as he goes on about associating disability with evil XD Satire can't compete with an interview like that XD

Can't wait to see the Daleks with human legs. By his logic. Or even Darth Vader with absolutely no injuries despite burning half to death.

I forgot this was even a controversy to begin with.

I needed to pause when Davies said that there was a "tradition" of villains in wheelchairs. I can name maybe four but I can list a bunch of heroes or hero allies in wheelchairs. Four easy and if I think about it a few more will come to mind. Apparently JoJo doesn't like Davies' nonsense, either.

I think that the important thing to remember is that Russell did this with the idea in mind that the skit was being made for the children in need event. Many of the viewing audience would be disabled so I think that in that context having the only disabled character be evil would be seen as a problem in Russell's eye. I guess we will just have to wait and see if Davros appears in the new era of Who before we can judge
