I just watched the Dalekadministrator and technician video. And in watching it I just realized the first viewing to just before now I never saw them as customs. I just accepted them as Daleks from the show. Gosh what a fantastic job having them fit in as if they are officail Daleks! Keep up your amazing work, I eagerly look toward the next video.

I love the lore behind this, also really feels like this is in vain of “the destroyers” (or the Daleks) a series Terry Nation wanted to make. It fully takes advantage of the colour and sets! Fantastic work.

The City Administrator appears in John Peel’s novel The Mutation of Time but there is no mention of it having a white dome.

Exactly!! It might be in other novels too but I can't remember. It has a distinctive role though, and I wanted to build on it. I'm glad someone realised the connection!

Ooh, I love the idea of an all-red DIOE style Dalek but I don't know what kind of role he would have, honestly. He would be a pilot, wouldn't he? I'm not sure where he could slot in here unless I removed the stripy red one!

SeaDevilLagoon No I don’t think you should remove the red-striped Dalek. If you put an all red Dalek with the red striped Dalek then thy could parallel the two black Daleks in charge of Skaro Base.

badwolf66 I’m sure he loves his job, as long as it pays the bills! 😂 that’s good, you can think of it like that, as it’s before everything goes wrong at Skaro base and kind of introduces the main Daleks. Thank you! I haven’t seen that no! I’ll seek it out though.

I've been able to army build so many as I've been collecting for a long time - and believe it or not, for a while 'the chase' sets were very cheap.

My hierarchy is pretty similar. Though the DIOE Movie Daleks are the most advanced soldiers and are used for large scale attacks. The DWATD Daleks are Security. Also the TV21 Drones (Basically a Chase Guard but with a silver dome and red lights) are at the bottom.

Always nice to hear about others’ ideas for a hierarchy. In a separate period, the Dalek Emperor is the TV21 golden Emp, who commands the black and red Dalek leaders. Dead planet Daleks and TV21 Daleks are the main drone force. Check out Rendezvous with Evil to see that in action.

Hi. As I didn’t create any of these Dalek recolours, you don’t need to ask for my permission. The only visual distinctions I made up for my channel are the white and blue domed Daleks, and they aren’t exactly original. So please - feel free to use what you like! But thanks for asking!

Thank you. I think the latest versions work in context (i.e made by humans), I don't think they are supposed to be the new design for good.

Where would the gold dalek from the 70’s or DIOE fit? With the supreme dalek or above him?

Difficult question. The DioE and film Dalek ranks are not accounted for in my movies. The Supreme/Mutation Red Dalek replace the black and red daleks of the first film. The 4-dalek council of supreme, black commander, striped commander and chief scientist seen in MAS replace the three-dalek ruling system of the second film. If there was a gold Dalek here he would be a similar level to the supreme/red dalek, probably slotting in alongside them. But I would sooner include him as part of a 70's hierarchy. Hope that answers your question!
