I always liked Nyssa with 5th Doctor as well -- I think they worked well because he was a bit flightly and got discombobulated easily, and her level-headedness worked nicely with that.

Nyssa seemed to shine more in the audios. It always seemed like they stuck her in the Tardis too much and gave everything to Adric and Tegan.
