What a crazy good episode. The entire Doctor Falls Speech remains iconic to this day. Missy V The Master! Nardole and Bill being iconic to the end. The Doc going along with Bills comment, “I don’t want to keep going on if I can’t be me”. Refusing to change is the perfect way for my fav Doc to end his last season!

The whole thread of the tears throughout this series was such a subtle tease of a super surprising twist with Heather was magnificent.

This two parter is my favourite story in all of Who. The Doctors speech to the Master and Missy is perhaps my favourite 3 minutes in the entire show, it encapsulates who the Doctor is so well. If Doctor Who had to end, like definitively end then this is the story I would have ended it on, with the final moments being the Doctor lamenting that there were stars, it'd be so bittersweet

Peter Capaldi is just so good, and Stephen Moffat is so good. Both are in my top three doctors and writers. I'm so glad you're carrying on. I can't wait to see what you think of the next episode and the next series.

Maybe it's because I have been watching Doctor Who since 1970 and have got used to the Doctor regenerating but I found Heather saving Bill and leaving with her to explore the galaxy more emotional than the Doctors potential regeneration.

this episode really shows missy's struggle against her previous self who only cared for himself until he protected the doctor for razzalons at the beginning of the end of time. here we see missy constantly fighting herself but then the most unfair was defo not expecting that last moment: the fact he was so hardcore set on not wanting to help the doctor to then end his later self really ends it but 2 quickly. so close to the end of an era making me sad as well now. and i wouldn't say watch it but when i was watching long ago i forced myself to watch the bbc trailer but imo i found it well worth it. dont watch it if you just want the longest cliffhanger
