@@goldenbtw1397 Well, the idea is that the Doctor, who somehow had a TARDIS in the shape of a police box in those days (honestly one of my biggest gripes with this whole thing), got recaptured by the Time Lords, turned into a child and given a proper 13-incarnation regeneration cycle. This, coupled with a memory wipe, would allow the Doctor to basically just grow up and be a normal Time Lord, another chance at life. So when Matt Smith was dying, he had reached the end of that cycle he'd been given. When the Time Lords did a thing and he regenerated, it was originally that he'd been given another regeneration cycle but it's since been retconned into them saving him by just giving him back the ability to regenerate infinitely. I don't like the concept of the Timeless Child. Not one bit. But that at least answers that question.

And in resolution where she was ready to let Aaron die to kill the Dale. But there needs to be more. We need to see the pain and hurt they've gone through. I really want to see how the time in the confession dial affected them too. 4 and 1/2 billion years is a long time to be alone with your thoughts. Maybe they were like how they were in season 11 because of their promise to be kind. But the depth of the character really needs to be brought out in season 12. The darkness and the pain of loosing so much again and again, sometimes because there was no other way, like with Donna. Really hope season 12 is much better than season 11.

You know it occured to me, doctor who is such a different show for those who never hurt anyone... For someone who never destroyed someone beyond repair or someone who's never known true regret or despair...to them the doctor is just emotional and stuck in the past.I envy those people... In not a timelord. I havent killed billions. But I've hurt people close to me... The ones who meant most and been hurt by others in ways that if some others i know had endured it i truly think some would have killed themselves. And even just that gives me such a heavy heart that when i try to imagine how he would feel its so overwhelming that you realize why people run at the mention of his name... A man who can move forward with that pain cannot be stopped. You can hurt him more and make him angry but he won't stop moving forward. Doctor who truly is a show that makes me cry ,smile and ponder in ways that some will never understand.im not a unique snowflake here i know, but i am part of the fanbase that you either understand or you don't.

This you for writing this. I watch it with my grandmother and sister mainly, and I’m always taken back when I hear anyone say that the doctor is so alien to us. That we need the companions to relate to him and understand him. But I’ve never found it to be the case, as in the end I’ve always related to the doctor with ease. And I do think it comes down to guilt, to those who know the same pain that he does, and those who don’t. I think those who don’t need the companions, but those who truly know him doesn’t need someone to make him explain how he feels because they just get them.

The new season feels very american to me. A lot of slapstick and no real comedy. All the companions are pushovers and either have no opinions or opinions that are completely parallel to the doctors. No emotional connection between the doctor and the companions. It's like the entire show was stripped of it's entire foundations built from it's reboot and left with some flimsy shell of a show. All for what? a female doctor? could have easily taken a leaf out of the master/missy book and embraced a feminine side to the character. I hope they either keep the character style and go back to a male doctor or adjust the character to accommodate a female actress.

@@suma8499 She was meant to prove that women could also play the doctor but failed miserably. Like I said 9 months ago. They did a fantastic job at Missy. I absolutely respect anyone who steps up and edits together a Doctor Who video... Just one thing, the music is kinda loud... Just sayin'...

This would be a perfect video if the music wasn't so loud that it frequently drowns out the spoken word.

he brought it back to what it was originally. A show about a time travelling creature that explore outer space and the past. I personally liked it like that, although some of the episodes could have been done better.
