I think Matt Smith was the Doctor that made me sad the most. It wasn't sad just because of a regeneration or losing a character, but because of his past. Every time someone says that he saves lots of people, he turns it away. Poor Raggedy man, you will be missed.

Yeah, Matt especially got a lot of little quiet moments, where if you blink you'll miss it: the insight into the doctor's self-loathing, and his pains and insecurities. The God Complex episode really messes with me for these reasons. Just, ugh, lots of good and sad stuff.

everytime I see someone post that they liked the Xth doctor the best, I argee. With every doctor, 11th, 10th... I always agree. Somehow I like every doctor in their own way. I almost feel their persona, their ways of thinking, I know how they would act and I love them all equally. They all bring their own part, their own character, their own art, they are all amazing. Fucking hell. Matt smith is my favourite doctor, it's just his acting was perfect and so were all the companions, there was something about his style that was different from everyone else's, this song makes me feel all kinds of different things and makes me remember all of the things that happened throughout the years. Truly a beautiful composition it fits perfectly for Doctor Who, especially matt's Doctor. :')

I feel the stuff that Matt went through was more serious and his saving the world with those was more inspiring. It really showed how much the Doctor cares, especially with Demons Run. The concept of that was really powerful. Murray Gold did an amazing job of composing music that really instills hope and inspiration to those listening. Listening to most of the music seems to make everything you do important, which was one of the things they had matt point out as the doctor, "Nobody important? Blimey, that's amazing. You know that in nine hundred years of time and space and I've never met anybody who wasn't important before." He did a really good job of reaching us as the audience and making us feel important. :D

I can’t tell you how often I listen to elevens music. I’ve been through a lot of childhood trauma (which I won’t disclose as it’s very triggering for me and may trigger others) and David Tennant and Matt Smith were my childhood doctors. Every night I was going through hell I’d close my eyes and pray for the Doctor to come and make it stop and play doctor who music. He never came but I knew he was there. And with PTSD now, I still hope he’ll rescue me, as silly as that sounds. This music gives me so much hope and I really resonated with The Girl Who Waited because for my whole life it seems I’ve been waiting on my Doctor. And that really is the beauty of Doctor Who. Because although I know it’s work of fiction, I still believe and I cannot thank the writers and Matt and David enough for portraying such a beacon of hope and positivity in my extremely dark childhood. I don’t know what I’d do if I ever met them or spoke to them but I just can’t thank them enough. And this particular theme, too. Thank you to this Channel for posting such an important piece of music for my recovery and mental health and thank you Doctor. From the girl who’s still waiting x

I don't think that believing in the Doctor is a childish thing. Because it means you believe in love, hope, that there is someone out there fighting for you, me, everyone... That even though life can be horrible and dark... there's always something good just around the corner. Something that makes us continue to walk forward, as long as we can find the strength.
