[Doctor Who/SFM] Restoration of the Daleks Scene Recreation (READ DESCRIPTION)

Lady and gentlemen, welcome to what will henceforth be known as 'Paradigm Day'. After 14 years since their debut story, Big Finish are finally bringing back the Paradigm Daleks as part of the 11th Doctor audio series in a boxset labelled 'Victory of the Doctor'.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, I have dedicated today to this wonderful Dalek design that got absolutely shafted by the TV show itself, and where better to start than the beginning, recreating the birth of the Paradigm Daleks with my own little twist, (namely two new editions) you'll see ;)
Few things worth noting about this recreation is that it was made in SFM and I do not have access to accurate models for the Dalek ship interior or Progenitor, so I kinda had to improvise and throw together whatever models I did have that were close enough. Also worth noting, the 11th Doctor model. While it is the version from the Adventure Games ripped straight from the files, (which does admittedly look good) I ported it to SFM via Gmod as I've no sodding clue how to port from those games into SFM, meaning the model has no face posing and has got some strange transparency issue going on with the skin, and don't even get me started on those AI generated looking fingers. This is why the 11th Doctor has been framed mostly from behind or with his head mysteriously out of shot, if the model was better I would have done it differently.
Still, this one was really fun to work on, aside from the logistical issue with the set and 11th Doctor model. I'm really happy with the finished project and hope to do more with the Paradigm Daleks soon, whatever that could possibly be, idk yet truthfully.

Ooo I love this, it’s a very good recreation in my personal opinion, and I love the fact that you have added the Geneticist and Purple paradigm Dalek which is awesome 😎. If I were to be nitpicky I would say that the Supreme Daleks voice needed a little more perfecting, as it sounds distilled in a way, i would have maybe given the Purple Dalek a different attachment from the Geneticist, to differentiate it more. However, I think this was a very good recreation nonetheless. Xx

love the fact The Geneticist was a fan creation that has essentially become its own thing. If the Paradigm ever comes back they should include it (along with the Scientist Daleks. Only appeared onscreen once) Was that an entirely purple Dalek or did it have a black dome? If so I'm assuming it is a guard class Dalek?

It did have a black dome, it was a guard, and believe it or not it appeared in The Eternity Clock, minus the claw arm

All I can say is… WOW, this is a fantastic recreation and yet an awesome reimagining, the models look brilliant, the Dalek voice is fab, walking that fine line where you have the eerie and sinister passion of the Daleks, whilst also still having them sound how a Dalek should. I take my proverbial hat off to you, and also god I wish we’d had the green and purple Daleks, they look superb!

Because the model has no face posing since I ported it from Garry's Mod, and it's transparent so better to just have it off screen

There a Star Wars blaster bolt model on the SFM workshop. I use that for all laser related things in my animation

They were from the Doctor Who Eternity Clock game, ported from Gmod. If you know how to do that you can access them quite easily

Porter from Garry's Mod. You'll have to look up how to do that, it's simple but nothing is simple for me to explain
