series 1, 10 and maybe the specials are definitely my favourite artworks, series 5 would be up there (as the overall concept is beautiful), if it weren't for the fact that (like the others too), the character models look like photos as opposed to straight up art...

Question: Outside of the beautiful steenboks themselves, are there any changes in picture quality/special feature to justify upgrading from standard Blu ray? I'd heard the David Tennant Specials were so I was almost convinced to buy that one

My eyes aren't the best I'm afraid, sometimes I hardly notice the difference between DVD & Blu-Ray, so I'm guessing the steelbooks as the same quality as normal Blu-Rays!

@@AdamMartyn Thanks for replying so soon! I'd heard some of the earlier blu ray releases like the 2009 specials and series 5 had an incorrect frame rate mastering or something. How about special features?

Series 9 is a big miss. Rare as hell for under 300. But some nice ones missing from here too, the Zavvi Spearhead From Space and Cushing films especially.
