I feel like the same fate applies to a lot of time lords missing in action. Susan, Romona, Rani, Meddling Monk, Rassilon. Whatever happened to any of them pre or post time war or during the master’s genocide is still up in the air with the door open for them to be explored if the writers so chose.

The time lords had so many weird weapons related to time and space. Who's to say one of them didn't wipe out whole races from existence, with the one who set it off being immune. The Master probably used one of these. (The doctor surviving due to not being gallifreyan, though they are chamelon circuited to be), Or maybe not, but the line about rippling through time and space sounds like that.

The master destroyed gallifrey after finding about the timeless child (which essentially revealed that regeneration came from the Doctor meaning part of the Doctor is inside every timelord) - i along many others who watched it feel that was a pretty weak reason for the master wanting to do such a thing because 1) the secret he found was about the doctor, not him and 2) why the hell would he destroy his entire planet after “losing” it in the time war. Just another case of chibbers not knowing how to write lol
