with this release, we now have a complete 60s season for the first time

*Now I might actually finish viewing the series sequentially & catch up to the more recent batch of doctors!* _(I seriously have no idea what anyone's been on about, with the new shows; I left off at the missing episodes & have been awaiting worthwhile reconstructions before moving on to any later Doctors.)_

complete.? Where is episode 3.? And 6.? She didn't even finish this we don't know how this ends. What is your definition of complete.? You are obviously not using the dictionary definition.

@@MrExplosion449 There are no links to 3 and 6. I even clicked on the playlist link that has links to all the wheel in space videos and there are no links to 3 and 6. Where are you seeing 3 and 6.? Apparently you don't understand the dictionary definition of missing.

The BBC made a bad mistake passing on this. It’s great

I thoroughly enjoyed this 3D reconstruction! Amazing work! The BBC once again prove how out of touch they are
@zeethreepioАй бұрын
"The audience don't like 3D reconstructions" I call shenanigans, this is fantastic. I would prefer this animated style over anything BBC Worldwide can pump out.
@TaylorZanderFrancisАй бұрын
The audience didn't like Web 3's animation. With backing from the beeb this could have been pure perfection. As it stands, the fact this was all done by two people more or less is stunning.
@cyrusq5999Ай бұрын
Levine, with his fat mouth, going on about the TOYMAKER release on social media, probably put this idea into the heads of the BBC. This effort has more merit than that rubbish WEB 3 garbage. If the BBC could release that on disc, what’s wrong with this?
@spiralx6249Ай бұрын
"The audience"? Time the BBC got its act together.
@prophetzarquonАй бұрын
Any improvement in quality that _might_ be obtained via BBC funding (even absent other BBC input), would be offset by audiences bringing an order of magnitude higher expectation for production levels that aren't even needed. Diminishing returns. Independent creators, creating things just so they'll exist; that's how to maximize total awesomeness.

Ah, Flannagan, what a lad..! "You need a few lessons in the manly and noble arts, me bucko!" - as he bounces someone's head against the wall repeatedly. Gemma's death is never less than shocking though - such a great character, played by a wonderful actress.

Thanks to you I've just finished watching The wheel in space for the first time. I'd read the Target novelisation a long time ago but never watched any reconstructions. I loved it. Thank you for gifting a new Doctor Who story for me. I appreciate all the love and hard work you put into it.The BBC should buy it off you and use it on the Season 5 boxset.Its great.👍

My three year old and I watched all four of your episodes together with the two surviving ones on iPlayer and absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for bringing this story back to life.
@MRodgers-i4qАй бұрын
Quite arrogant of the BBC to suggest fans don't want 3D. Actually, fans didn't want half baked 3D. This is incredible. I'd put it up there along with The Moonbase and The Invasion animations. Yet again the BBC thinks that it understands fans and gets it completely wrong. It feels perverse that I paid for the Wed of Fear animation, yet I've managed to rip these for free. Thanks to you, I now consider Season 5 to be complete. x x x

Came from Josh Snares! I actually felt I was watching a real episode, how did you do it so life-like?! It's incredible! Thank you for making this lost classic! At a young age I was intrigued to see lost stuff and now here I am with this!
@SteveTrim1Ай бұрын
I agree with the other commenters. This. Is a great animation and deserves to be seen by all of fandom. This should definitely be a stand alone release and/or part of a season 5 collection. Well done on the high standard you achieved and thank you for bringing to life such a seminal story with Zoe’s introduction.

Iz and Steve; I remember about 15 years ago seeing and commenting on your recreation of The Web of Fear trailer and shitting my pants with excitement at how good recons of missing eps could be, you were years ahead of your time then! We’ve had some lovely recons, but the only ones that have ever interested me are the ones that are realistic as possible and can be watched interspersed with existing episodes, these new 2D cartoon animations they’ve done where they’ve essentially started from scratch I can’t abide in at all. Speaking for myself and a whole bunch of likeminded whovians, I’ve got to say this is the most impressive set of recons I’ve ever seen and this is the sort of thing I’ve been dreaming of for years, namely 15 after first seeing that initial WOF short of yours, it doesn’t need me to say it because everyone else already has but you guys have nailed it and then some. I was talking with Josh Snares about putting together a petition to put forward to the BBC to demonstrate how bloody narrow minded they have been with this labour of love done off your own backs (painstakingly over the last few years I might add) and handed to them on a plate, anyone would have thought they’re taking orders from the cyber controller to destroy the hopes and dreams of 60s Who enthusiasts and purists! I can’t thankyou enough for making so many so happy and we are all on the edge of our seats to see what you’ve got lined up next! If necessary we’ll rally round and get a gofundme in place to help produce more marvels of this magnitude, much love and greatest respect 🫡 ❤

Loved watching this alongside the surviving episodes. While I'm 50/50 over 3D animation, I have to say I love work you have done and I can clearly see the passion and effort on display with these animations. They're a joy to watch and you should be extremely proud of yourselves. I think it's absolutely fantastic work 👏😊 I look forward to seeing more from you in the future. Subscribed!

Brilliant work by you both folks, have totally loved all the epidodes. The BBC are incorrect if they think fans do not want 3D animation like this. They just want it well done. Which these are considering its just the two of you working in your spare time, where as Web Of Fear sadly wasn't

Having watched all your reconstructions I must concur with the vox populi that this is, indeed, a tremendously successful achievement. The black and white element compliments the 3D animation and one can only wonder what marvels might have been if the BBC actually invested in this. Huge congratulations and appreciation.

What a fantastic treat for Christmas, as a life long fan who has watched every episode on broadcast this brought back some wonderful memories. Your style of approach to this story is spot on, it shows so much love in the fine details, the camera angles the texturing and lighting is superb, and you've created adding even more atmosphere and tension than the original. Once word has got around more I am sure you will find thousands more subscribers before we reach the New Year. Thank you both so much for your dedication and hard work, it is appreciated.

Excellent, took me a little time to get familiar and boom I was in. Superb job, wonderful realisations.❤ Why the BBC have not come in with funds to improve this is criminal. Forgive me I'm not putting it down and is far better than the terrible renditions of the last few animations by the 'boys club'. 😊 I understand you have discussed or talked with them? My apologies if that incorrect?Lets face it we need a The Collection blu ray season 5 out or 6 this could get them there. I not getting any younger, I know that's selfish but time is passing to see something of quality like these. Good luck with future episodes, I wish lot's of love and a big thank you for your time, skills and love to produce this. 💗💗💗

What a wonderful job you've done! Your usage of motion capture made the movements so much more human than many animations. You've brought the story to life in an unparalleled way; I thoroughly enjoyed it so much this time around. The story has had a somewhat lackluster reputation, but your work has a strong chance of warranting a reappraisal for it among fandom, as it certainly has for me. Hats off!

Thank you for uploading this serial, it's a real shame that the BBC aren't going to make this an official DVD/Blu Ray. I will admit that I haven't watch the whole of this wonderful work of yours, but I have a a few little peeks at it as 'The Wheel in Space' is one off my personal favorite stories. I've already got the CD (thanks to the stand alone CD set, I did have a copy that came in a tin with 'The Invasion' and a CD all about the history of the Cybermen but it's long gone now. those I had get them both one again as self contained CDs) plus the 'Lost in Time' DVD, off which I'll be using for parts 3 and 6 and finally the Telesnaps DWM Sped from 2013. All of which I very much enjoy using in order to enjoy the tale. Oddly however my love affair with 'The Wheel in Space' began with a fan made Telesnap recon that had been made by some fans back in the 1990s, I'm not sure which one it was, but I'm fairly sure that it wasn't the Loose Canon version. 'The Wheel in Space' is a woefully underrated tale written my my personal favorite 'Doctor Who' writer David Whitaker (any relation?) starring my personal favorite Doctor (Pat NEVER EVER gave a bad performance regardless of the writing or SFX quality, thus I even enjoy the likes of tales like 'The Krotons' and 'The Dominators' plus I've always like the Krotons and the Quarks as they are cool in a sort of Zarbi way) alongside his two best foils (Jamie and Zoe, Zoe and her outfits being another reason why I enjoy those tales as well) plus my second favorite monster, namely the Cybermen one of their best designs. Happy Times and Places

Well, I watched them all and they are easily better than anything the BBC has put out so far - and I like the BBC stuff. Sure, at first glance,these resemble umpteen other fanimations, but just a couple of minutes' viewing show these to be of another level of accomplishment. They' re the perfect synthesis of passion and savvy, something we've only glimpsed in flashes until now. Of course, there's always room for improvement, but as proof of concept, these are 100% - improvements just make me feel more excited, because in terms of everything you could judge, these epiodes are 95% there. Make no mistake, seeing this has been one of the beautiful highlights of my week and I feel both touched that you've shared these and certain that the BBC will be meeting you again, as these rebuilds are one of the best ways forward. More, please! ❤️ 🎉
