PowerNarth - MM This is true. 9 and 10 were the same. As were 11 and 12 (mostly). I just think that, since we are getting a new Director, a new Doctor, even a new composer apparently, chances are this regeneration will be more akin to 10 (where the Director and Doctor changed at the same time as well). I like to call this moment the "hard reset" since everything changed when 11 came and the new director. In that regeneration as well the TARDIS exploded in the interior. We'll get a full episode of Jodie and then at the end the reveal of the new TARDIS. Plus, as much as I LOVE this TARDIS, we have had it for 2 Doctors now. Probably time for something fresh. Personally, I can't wait to see what they come up with.

@@RandomShinigami7 Music in Doctor Who has always been weird. I can remember most tracks from Season 1-4 I can't remember ANYTHING from Season 5-7 because they just used "I am the Doctor" every 20 bloody minutes. I can remember most of Season 8-10 because the music was used really well, and the tracks were actually good. I can't remember anything from Season 11-12 aside from maybe 1 or 2 tracks. Now this doesn't mean the new music is bad, the one's i've actually listened to separately (Her theme, and the new Cyberman theme) are actually really good but i feel like when one guy does the music for however many years, it's hard to adjust. I'll always think of that 6-note melody as the Cyberman theme, however they mix it. I'll always think of that grand opera used for Season 4 whenever i see a Dalek.

I love how this episode was a true ending to everything thats happened, everything finally wrapped up and ready for a new. Even The Doctor can go back to how he was when he was younger, he's finally past saving Gallifrey and moved on from all that regret he had, now in a body he's never been used to we can start to see him no longer be the grumpy old man he's become and instead that fun, charming Doctor that the fans have been craving for, the old era is over and its time for the show to go in a new direction, its time for Doctor Who to finally return to its prime state.

@@thesluggyserpentgaming007 I dunno its open to opinion, the doctor while still has her dark sides is definitely a lot happier and I'm not going to go into what your opinion of the show is since I stepped away from the fandom after series 12 with how toxic it is lately, I personally enjoy whittaker more than any previous series but stating your opinion online lately is a death sentence.

this really was the twelfth doctor's theme. not the eariier one they used for him. its a pity this theme wasn't used for him in his first two seasons. his final season with bill was as good as some of the eleventh doctor's run. i consider season five and six of eleventh doctor the best doctor who ever, season five as no one, and the last season of twelfth doctor as good as eleventh doctor season six.

When this episode came out, I was so upset that this Doctor was leaving that I never actually watched the episode. I so wish I had. Though, buckets of tears would have been shed.

Wish the real version was released but the TARDIS sounds actually seem to add to it in a way.
