So, while Spike grew due to his greed for jewels, Jot grew due to his need for knowledge, and he was able to control himself. I guess eastern dragons are a breed apart from western dragon. Also, for those wondering, yes, Jot does have fur, like Chinese Dragons of legend. I love his design and character development. Awesome episode!!!

And, one more thing: at the beginning, the warped unicorn said that his 'master' was "fear incarnate. Sin. Oblivion." Could that mean it's the incarnation of the 7 deadly sins? I mean it did have 7 heads, after all. For those of you who don't know, the 7 deadly sins come from Christianity. They are wrath, avarice, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony. According to the Catholic Church, a mortal, or "deadly" sin is believed to destroy the life of grace and charity. (If you still don't understand yet, google. That's all I'm going to say.)

To give a calm clear analysis on this whole episode, it was kinda, sorta: THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN, i mean i have seen some great fan works in my time as a brony but this, THIS was freaking amazing, this is the only fan project i have seen that actually made me cry both tears of joy and sadness at the exact same time (the only other being my little dashie), and that ending, all i can say is that a gingercorn wants to travel with me needs to become a t-shirt at some point or another. Seriously guys, thank you, and give props to Jestre, he does a great voice, and Keikoandgilly, all i can say is thanks man for so much joy, hilarity, and general awesomeness. I always had this impression that with General Lionheart being a griffin, his other officers would also be diverse. Cavalier sounds like a minotaur, with Wieldhelmet a fellow griffon, and of course Lightwing being probably one of the few pegasi in the encampment. Great musical number, including the inspiration from Rankin-Bass's Return of the King. Both the lich pony and the Terror hydra creature were truly chilling, especially in the latter's appearance on the battlefield. You could easily imagine everypony crying out in fear "Celestia help us!" But fortunately Tick Tock had the solution with his inventions. Jot is so adorable, being an Eastland dragon, and loved Derpy mentioning Spike indirectly during her conversation with Jot. An emotional episode, all in all.
