Just goes to show, it's not the amp, it's not the guitar, not the pedal, it's the player. Gary Moore on the cheapest guitar amplifier around still sounds better than most guitar players out there. What a legend. He is sorely missed. RIP.

@@neongrave5414 The guitar is the Gibson Gary Moore Signature Les Paul 2000 - 2002. One pedal is BOSS RV-5 Digital Reverb. the other pedal I don't know. probably an overdrive pedal of some sort.

I always find it interesting when guitar players of Gary's magnitude have that few minutes of awkwardness when asked to play something. He can play for hours on end but put on the spot there's a bit of stutter. Pure legend.

God how I miss this man!!! And his way of playing, those thunders from his fingers, sound so powerful that you can just close your eyes and enjoy! He was so humble and OK guy yet on the stage he was real monster of rock, blues or anything he played!!! Thank God we can see some of his live performances on KZbin or somewhere else! And those videos from times with Thin Lizzy, Colosseum ll and his solo career are real treasure and it's such a great thing that we can see it and hear it whenever we want!!!

Very good interview. It was nice to hear Gary bring up Peter Green. He kinda' works his vibrato the same as Peter. Very strong and sustained. I gotta try to emulate that a bit. Danny Kirwan also comes to mind. I was hoping they might discuss Rory Gallagher, he and Gary both being Irish and friends of Peter. I'm half Irish myself. The other half American Indian. Rory and Peter really influenced me over the years. So Gary fits right in there. All very no nonsense straight on players. Soulful. Thanks for the clip.

Great video Gary is probably the most exciting guitar player for me,the fact he could sing so well and play at the level he did, emitting so much emotion because most of the time he never looked at what he was doing. So astonishing as a player you always want more,an audience conductor having people jaws dropping
