I just got the new Kirkland Sig 10's last week and was just saying "I could totally see people without hearing loss wanting these...they're like implanted earbuds!" I take all of my calls, get all of my alerts, and even activate Google Assistant through something in my head :D

Hearing aids are becoming the latest form of wearable tech. No stigma whatsoever. My Phonaks are elegant, discreet, and desirable tech. It's really cool knowing my hearing aids are far superior to any earbud on the market. You really notice how ahead of the game hearing aid tech is when you see people talk on Zoom with Airpods or other devices. Seriously, we have national experts being interviewed on major news channels -- and they look a little dorky with their Airpods. Just sayin'.

I started having hearing loss 10-15!years ago. I am now 59. 10 years ago I was fitted for aids but since I had to use stethoscope (I am Pediatrician) I just continued to read lips and never used them. Slowly hearing loss progressed. But came covid and masks didn’t let me read lips. So for 1 year now I have my hearings aids and I need them. But that doesn’t mean I don’t feel I am handicapped. But little by little I don’t care so much if people know. But this video has certainly let the flood gates pour of my struggle with the vanity issue. I have to check out the website but this is just spectacular. Thank you.

This is not exactly what I had in mind when I wanted to turn my hearing loss into a fashion statement. I want the color of the hearing aid to change from being skin color to being any color that I want. I want the hearing aid to stand out and I want everybody to see it. Because my hearing loss is nothing that I have any control over I would rather celebrate it and show it off so I would want the color of the hearing aid to be a bright color and to be glittery because I love glitter. So I would want it to be a bright blue color and have glitter in the color so it'll stand out and everybody can see it. Is something like that even available? I don't want to attach jewelry to my hearing aids, I want my hearing aid to be the jewelry

Very cool! Definitely interested in buying some of their jewelry, but I'm about to upgrade to Oticon Mores and the back of those seems to be about 90% button or microphone. Does the holster fit on them?

I love decorating my hearing aids! It's so fun! I get most of my stuff on Etsy. There are several KZbinrs who post videos showing different things you can try. Such as the KZbinr Jessica Flores. It's awesome that you made a video to share with everyone. I hope more people come to find how fun it can be to get creative with their hearing aids. Another thing I see KZbinrs doing is not only creatively decorating their hearing aids, but then also fixing up their hair in different ways in order to show them off. Like French braids and fancy clips. Whatever can bring in some more creative fun and joy! It's the simple things in life. I get a lot of compliments from kids and teens when they see my hearing aids decorated. Which is a nice time to remind people to get their hearing checked!

Oh, also. I hope hearing aid makers start coming out with crazy colors for all their devices. So many of them seem to only offer silver, tan, black, etc. I wanna see vibrant crazy colors too! Artsy, creative, fun stuff! Maybe one day! 🙂

I've been deeply puzzled over this exact topic for YEARS! Whyyyyy has nobody thought of making hearing aids that look like accessories or jewellery?! High-end ultra sparkly Swarovski crystal encrusted? Victoriana gothy? Ultra kitsch Harajuku style/Japanese kawaii? I am totally baffled by why this hasn't happened. I see a few attempts here and there, like the one in this video but generally speaking nobody has done anything cool and innovative here and I cannot understand why.
