3:08 Since I still own classic mercury thermometer, when I feel fevorous I stick it under my armpit, lay in bed and cover myself tightly with bed sheet for 5 minutes. Is it as good place to measure temperature as mouth or rectum?

Rectum is most accurate. Mouth is a bit less accurate. Armpit is least accurate, but still good, you have to find out if you have a fever not making scientific research. BTW do not cover yourself with sheets “tightly” just lay down, will be more accurate.

If I get it right it is not considered a medical device so anybody can manufacture them without any regulation. They are the same stripes used to control temperature in home brewing and fish tanks.

Lol, I remember my Grandmother telling a story about visiting my Grandfather in the hospital. She thought she was hitting the button by the bed to call someone, but it was the button to give another dose of meds (if that's a thing) they joked about her pumping him full of morphine trying to call the nurse/doctor lol. No harm no foul, but pretty dangerous if that was a real thing at the time (to have control over painkillers like morphine right by the bed? May have just been a story, but was a good joke for them for a while.

Basically, it's Star Trek, but even better. The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Claire Finn, has had to deal with quite a few medical situations during the show's run, and they're just begging for a reaction video like yours.

I agree in the acupuncture. I once got it on my back because my spine was a bit out of alignment from years of being hunched over (over a desk, on a phone, etc.) And I was told to relax for the acupuncture and I only felt a few pinches, but when you tense it's when it pinches worse. Just like when you get a shot it hurts when you tense for it
