As far as I am concerned, the most difficult notes in the mid register to produce are the E and the F that clearly need particular attention to remain consistent with the Eb and the F#. I assume there is more than one single cause to this phenomenon which seems widespread among flutists, including one's embouchure, the instrument itself, the physical condition at the very moment we play these notes, the note series (what is there before and after these tricky notes), etc. Thanks a heap for the piece to work on, cela joint l'utile à l'agréable (it combines the useful with the pleasant).
