Ive been burned by rest mode before. Had it in rest mode while I was at a concert and at some point while I was gone the power had gone off. Screwed something up and I had to system reset and I lost all my save data. 100+ plus hours on some games just gone.

True, unless you use the dualsense edge which has Hall effect sensors and is $200, you will always have stick drift with any potentiometer joystick like the Ps5 controller. The hall effect isn’t too expensive and can be found on budget pc controllers however, since Sony does not allow 3rd party controllers, you’re stuck with the dualsense. Luckily they’re being currently sued for the same reason as it’s anti-consumer.

Which is why i have the dualsense edge controller. Instead of having to spend $70 for another controller whenever the stick drift arrives , i can just spend $20 for the stick itself. And the installation is super easy, no tools needed 🤷‍♂️
