You should be able to replace the blade on your box-cutter. Most of them contain a blade that can be removed. Infact, you should be able to take the blade out flip it around and use the part inside the handle as a fresh blade. Once both sides are used up, you just put in a brand new one.

This is the one we’ve been waiting for. Fizzy, lush, warm, and not a copy of something else. Love the Norlin era sliders. The One was a giant convoluted mess with too many features and no sweet spot. Like my Juno 6, Muse sounds like it’s all sweet spot. Exciting. If quality control is good, this is a total no brainer.

The only Moog I ever laid my hands on was a Voyager that was chillin in my local Guitar Center, and of course it'd be amazing to have a Model D, but right from the get-go, I love how this new machine visually seamlessly fits into any synth rig, right inbetween any beloved vintage ones you might have. Almost looks like they took a couple bits of inspiration from Roland's Jupiter and Juno keyboards, actually! As long as there's plenty of sliders and knobs as opposed to menu diving, I'm eager to demo one if it ever comes this way!

I've always been a huge Roland fan. But this is the first synth I've been excited about since the Prophet6. I bought the P6 after a couple trips, and a couple of months of contemplation, to GC noodling about on it. THIS however is the first synth that I've ever bought without even ever laying hands upon it. I didn't even know it was in the works until two weeks ago when I saw it on Sweetwater. It's back ordered, can't wait!!

I'm about to purchase a new synth but not this one, sadly. I'm blow away by all of the incredible demos being done with this thing. It's not in my budget and it's probably more synth than I need and definitely more synth than I deserve. Great little jam. I especially like the little electric piano interjections that seamlessly blend into the synth lead. The Muse is already a grail.

I got so frustrated waiting for the Moog Muse(Mirror) to be released that I bought an andromeda. Took it apart and cleaned all the pots, replaced the screen with a brighter sharper screen and NO REGRETS! The alesis is phenomenal! And now THIS?!?!? I gotta have it! Love the doctor.

I LIKE THE MOOG MUSE! 😄 I don't know how you manage to do it, but each one of these demo videos is more fun and enjoyable and great sounding than the last! For the 2 or 3 people in the audience who may not know the history: One of the really interesting things about the Muse is that it's in many ways the first new overall panel and layout design since probably the Memorymoog(?) (ironically, this makes it one of the most "normal" looking synths Moog have ever released! 😄). The Muse pays a faint nod to the look of the Polymoog, but the Vox Humana patch coming up first thing is a big nod to what made that first polyphonic Moog famous - the Vox Humana patch used by Gary Numan on numerous hits.

This is my idea of a proper review: how it sounds in context of actual melodic music and does it play well with others. This sounds like a very solid stand-in for people pining for the Moog poly heydays of Polymoogs and Memory Moogs, plus has the old world charm of relative simplicity if you don’t need the Moog One’s Marianas Trench depth for all encompassing sound design.
