We switched to a whole food plant based diet after my husband was diagnsed with agressive prostate cancer. He opted not to do conventional medicine and we changed our diet and lifestyle. He was given 3 years to live and we are going on 14 years and he is doing well. We will NEVER go back to the standard american diet!

One would think a heart surgeon as dr oz is, might know more about food as medicine, that maybe a portion of his surgeries are not needed if his patients were given options other than swallowing a pill and surgery… love dr funrman

Most doctors are not trained in nutrition much. Probably just a few chapters in their text books. You have to be lucky to find a Dr that has branched out in their studies

I wish no medication was necessary but medication can be lifesaving. I’ve never come across anyone who was cured of c-dif or any serious infection.
@marykarle399711 ай бұрын
@@susancox9268 My only question is what CAUSED the c-diff or serious infection in the first place? Sadly Drs are trained to just give you a pill to treat the symptoms when symptoms occur….I believe prevention is the key…

I need help Dr. Oz. I am 72, retired, active but on 17 medicines daily and 30 pounds over weight. I am type 2 diabetic, on blood pressure medicine and in 2023 had serious cancer surgery plus ten skin cancer spots removed. Also in 2023 Nevro inplanted a battery in my back with 2 seventeen inch wires in my spinal cord to stop nuropathy. That did work but I still have not healed from the surgery in my back. One major cancer surgery on forehead was Stage 3 Cancer where the cut a massive hole in my head to dig out the melenoma cancer. As you see I need help.

Ive done WFPB which does NOT eliminate meat. But the key is eating non-processed foods, eliminating sugar, and eating real food. I 100% disagree about eliminating meat. There is no scientific proof of the significance and actually just the opposite. Key though is eating lean meat. God blessed meat to eat so to pull in a “biblical” context of fruit and veggies would be incorrect. Jesus made fish for the disciples as well. Lastly, Im a bit confused why Dr. Oz focuses on women for their weight-loss and not men. This guy is nothing more than a vegan without saying it. Every channel you turn to everybody has this so-called magic key to losing weight. I believe that every single body is different, and a one size fits All approach is the most wrong approach ever. I have the metabolism of a handicap two-legged turtle going uphill on ice.

Hi Dr. Oz. I have an off topic question. Do you think the aluminum ingredient in insta-tox could potentially cause memory loss/Alzheimer's especially because you are putting it on your face?

What about the fake food I heard about. Isn’t that bad? How can we guard against that. Foods do not taste the same, plus not as juicy. Almost as if radiation dried up the tomato, fruits, etc. sad….

There is an app that shows the nutrient density of each food: “dense nutrition”. Dr Fuhrman if you want to work together let e know to help more people get healthy!

I try to eat healthy yet I have pain and it's from bad back and bad surgery and now age have suffered worse since bad surgery I almost died from it, I suffered years and through the years I had kidney stones eating almonds and stomach only to find out they cause kidney stones. And allergic to cottonseed oil putvin our foods I broke out and found allergic to all the bad presertives, even rice. Sulfites nitrites MSG so eating natural helped me than surgery filling me with so much meds caused Pancrease issues three years suffering and being not taken care of. I kept saying I thought kidney stones five Dr said not, had gallbladder emg due to pain. Hysterectomy where bowel ruptured bladder put back to high in my fifties now 81 suffered all this time ,I eat more natural That's what has help buy since 93 on sleeping pill tested told I could still take as it is a hereditary thing. So do know food make a difference. Arthritis from back car accidents saying surgery no already had twi went bad. Having trouble walking, wondering at my age could this help with pain?

Typical Dr. Oz: going straight from Dr. Fuhrman to promoting the very diet style that Dr. Furhman is trying to warn people against. It's like he has to assuage the discomfort that Dr. Fuhrman may have caused the audience by telling them the truth about diet and disease: like, don't worry, you don't *actually* have to give up the SAD! 🙄

😮I was shocked by this TV programme. First half a doctor that explains a natural diet that makes sense. Second half of it, a rubbish theory about metabolism? That turned the show into a joke. It would have been much more credible if there had been more time dedicated to the first doctor. But I guess he doesn't sell because if you follow his advice you won't need to spend money on doctors, surgeries and medications. It's all about the 🤑💰 money. I see it clearly now.😢 it's so disappointing. I'm not watching this show again. I don't believe in Dr Oz.
