I love this man! There are very few people as brave, energetic , kind and charismatic as Richard has been. He has been very generous toward people and I hope he is happy and content at this time. I wish that Richard Simmons older self acted more like his younger self here. In this video he is VERY genuine and sincere. The senior Richard Simmons is TOO flamboyant...fake...” I’m NOT gay!”...dressing in women’s dresses and wigs...and acting kooky. NOT being his TRUE self. Just be a NORMAL gay man Richard. Be genuine. I think perhaps because he was so used to motivating people and that takes a lot of energy. It’s like he had to be high energy and he wasn’t sure how to turn that off and it probably wore him out in the end. He is still a lovely human.
