@@melissawall6470Melissa. I have been with the same problems for the past year. I had the H. Pylori and they gave me an the treatment but I never got tested again. I've been experiencing nausea, a lot stomachache, and I don't have appetite either. They did an endoscopy last year and they found I have stomach polyps and a hiatal hernia. I also have acid reflux and my esophagus was damaged bc of it so they found an ulcer in it. On Monday I have an appointment with my internist. She sent me to do labs and they found blood in my heces. That is the first time in my life it happens. I'm 57 years old. My mom died of colon cancer. I was wondering if you have any advice for me like what kind of questions should I ask my internist on Monday. I'm kind of shaken off when I saw this video bc it's exactly what I'm going through. I haven't told my sons and I'm divorcing my husband, but he's the only one who knows about my health issues. Thank you Melissa. My beloved Aunt Suzie was diagnosed as "crazy/ bipolar/psychotic, etc" in the mid 80's. She'd been in and out of hospitals (mental) for 3 years. Then a scan showed stage 4 glioblastoma as well as a lemon size tumor in her brain. They gave her 9 months with surgery. After her neurosurgery, she developed a deadly bacterial infection and was in ICU for weeks. They wanted to remove her from medical and Life support. We had people praying everywhere. Because she was so sick, they didn't start chemo. She lived for over 30 years!! And passed away 6 years ago after being a huge testimony to hundreds of other people, including myself!!!

I have a heart arrhythmia that can be very bad at times, and for four years, doctors gaslit me and told me i was imagining it all, leaving me to suffer horrible symptoms every day for four years. it is beyond shameful how doctors treat females as hypochondriacs or anxiety cases when they report physical issues. women are being neglected. no excuse.

Comments like “this woman is a hypochondriac” is such a damaging statement which follows a person through their medical journey. Drs read comments like this and already have an already way of looking at and judging a patient. When drs do not listen, or do not look outside the square, people die, simple. I am a nurse and see the damage that drs do when they dismiss their patients. We all have a need to be heard and cared about. I wish this brave lady all the very best, this diagnoses is grim and devastating and so hard for anyone to get their head around. I’m so sorry that you received this diagnoses, thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your story, which will help to educate others or help others not feel so alone. You made me cry, I wish I had the power to take it all away for you. ❤ sending my love and thoughts to you xx🐝❤️🌈🙏⭐️🌸

@ it happens all the time, I hear more negative feedback from people than positive things. Being a nurse people want to tell me about their experiences and so tend to vent to me or tell me of how is a great Dr or how the nurses were wonderful etc. I am so ashamed of my profession as a health care provider, we are falling you all and it is not good enough. I can say that every single patient I have ever had I put 110 percent into their care. It’s not like we are just serving people in a shop, we are dealing with real lives here, physical pain, distress, emotions, family and facial worries, a whole bunch of things come through that door when a person isn’t well and feels vulnerable. It’s peoples lives and I take what I do very seriously. Have I made every patient have a great experience, maybe not, I’m sure I’ve been a bit dismissive of busy or didn’t seem profession or not on the ball or whatever, I’m not perfect . But I have also never made one error in 25 years. X

You are so spot on correct about the Medical Notes that Drs write FOLLOWING YOUAND THIS EFFECTS OTHER DRS OPINION OF YOU! Theres a Fine line between entering the Word Hypocondiac into a pts medical chart when the Dr many times Just Does Not Have the KNOWLEDGE in order to even Know what Tests to Order--And due to many Drs EGOS WOULD NEVER ADMIT THIS- It then DETRIMENTALLY affects the pts care and Ultimately their LONGEVITY. The word Hypochondriac is THE SUBJECTIVE OPINION OF THE DR AND IN MY OPINION IS ACTUALLY NEGLIGENT TO ENTER THAT INTO ANY PTS CHARTBECAUSE IT MOST DEFINITELY AFFECT THEIR FUTURE CARE!

From when he was finally diagnosed it was like a weight had been lifted he was so relieved because he knew it meant he was not insane. We lost him within weeks. We lost an amazing man who should still be here with us, but for his doctor’s action. The legal case that pursued found his doctor to be negligent as a scan taken 2 years prior showed the cancer in the early stage which was noted it needed to be acted on immediately his doctor failed to act on the scan. This only deepened the pain of what my husband endured all because of what his doctor put him through. It is useless to complain if their doctor can not or rather will not listen

The older good doctors are gone or retired! I'll never forget my friend's experience with a hospital! He wasn't feeling good but thought he was coming down with the flu or a cold! His doctor said he needed to rest! He took off a couple of weeks for vacation to get rest! He was outside trying to get some work done and his wife came outside and said we're going to the hospital! The ER was packed and he was bent over in pain so they put him on a stretcher in the hallway! His friend, a retired surgeon was there on a consult and saw him lying there! He asked a few questions and felt where he had pain and said it's your gall bladder! It's so infected it floated up under your heart! He said I can do your surgery and I'll be bringing other surgeons to see why the pain is so high! His biopsy came back negative but the doctor said he was very lucky! He was out of work for months!

I went to the doc, fatigue nausea, headaches etc. They try to the you it's everything else before they bother to figure it out. Years later I find out i have cancer because of course symptoms develop. If you are going to a doctor that doesn't give you credit for knowing your own body, it's time to find another. I knew I was feeling things that weren't normal or justified by anything I was doing. Thank you for sharing your story and knowledge. I pray for your full recovery.

I'm glad she got well. If prayer works at healing then there would be a confirmed case of a missing human limb spontaneously growing back as a result of prayer. It has never happened.
@MomToBeFamousАй бұрын
@davea6314 There have been confirmed cases of diseases healed through prayer and without medical intervention, and people declared dead by medical practitioners coming back to life in mortuaries that has made even the best of the medical teams scratch their heads. So, prayer can bring wonders if you truly believe, and that doesn't mean you should not seek medical advice and help. But prayers do play a big part. Why do you think hospitals have prayer rooms for families? Even doctors have admitted that they have encountered unexplained experiences treating sone patients in their career.
@davea6314Ай бұрын
@MomToBeFamous You're missing the point that I'm making. The way to prove that prayer works is to videotape praying over someone with a missing limb and have that limb spontaneous grow back and catch it on video. Such an occurrence would be a miracle. No video has ever been presented with this hard evidence. Anything less than including what you presented does NOT prove that prayer works.

Oh Melissa, thank you for sharing your story. I saw the peace that God gave you through the diagnosis to the present. I experienced that peace during my cancer and treatment as well. What a beautiful blessing your testimony is to others. We struggle to find hope and strength, in the face of such a serious diagnosis. Often, it's in those dark moments when we fall to our knees in prayer, confessing to God that the weight of the burden we are carrying is too heavy for us and relinquish it to Him that we discover our true strength. I join my prayers to those of you and your family asking for healing and restoration of health.

Same here in UK for nearly 7 years! Such ignorance and inflated egos is involved along with greater than thou condescending verbal abuse and bullying tactics with comments of - It’s in your head/you’re making things up/scan/test results are normal ( we don’t get to see them ) must take their word/nothing wrong with you/google it/it’s anxiety/depression/menopause/mid life crisis. Underhand implying we are only after drugs. The condescending belittling list of dismissal tactics I could go on with. Don’t need to though as we mostly all have experienced varying levels of dismissal and belittling from these medical professionals who are supposed to help us medically not tear us down and try labelling us delusional/nut/druggies/liars/fantasists etc derogatively.
