My wife is an emt. A couple years ago, we were getting ready for bed and she asked if I was alright. I told her that I was fine, but she kept on asking. After about 10 minutes, I told her, slight chest pain and pain going down my left arm and shortness of breath. Then she asked when did it start. I told her about 5hrs ago. She was madder than a wet hen. She called up her boss to ask if it was OK to run a 12 lead on me. We got to the ambulance station and she did the ekg. Printed it out, took a picture and sent it to her boss. He boss called her back and told her to take me in to the hospital. Turned out it was a heart attack, I was 37 at the time. While I was there, the hospital did blood work, chest x-rays and had me hooked up to an ekg all night. This will throw y'all off. The cause of the heart attack, my rheumatoid arthritis. I knew that I was in a severe rheumatoid flare brought on by stress and I knew there was a chance on the rheumatoid arthritis affecting my organs, but from what I've read, the chances are pretty low. Here's another curveball for y'all. Granted rheumatoid arthritis runs in my family, but the triggering factor for me was lyme disease back in 2017. So something as small as a deer tick permanently fucked up my life

Not a doctor, but a guy in his early twenties comes in screaming and crying. I’m tasked with calming him down and he’s having a full on panic attack. Once I get him to calm down and tell me what the problem was, he says something along the lines of “something is coming out of my 🍆 and when I looked it up it said it was the devil.” Upon further investigation we find out that this adult man didn’t know what masterbation was and I guess some religious website told him that he was sinning. He asked if he was going to die and I confidently told him no

You might want to add so e pauses between the smaller stories in the bigger stories, it all blends together what seem smaller sub stories. It’s bordering on droning on

15:46 you don't need prove that you're innocent. That is above and beyond the bar required. If you can prove innocence, then the state has royally messed up and someone needs to be fired. What you need to prove is that the state hasn't proven their case beyond a reasonable doubt. That is a much lower bar.

I tend to get nauseous when I am cold, however, that is usually after I have eaten just about anything it’s like my digestive system doesn’t work. Trust me, it is misery inducing. However, it is probably not as misery inducing as the scent of human digestive contents coming back up the way they went in, in a hot car and air-conditioning. Never been there, but I have a vivid imagination.
