I would go Pegasus Plus all the way. I have about 50 miles on my pair with two easy runs, one track workout, and one long run workout, and it is a fantastic versatile trainer that lets you work on your mechanics. I don’t love it for easy stuff, but it’s really good at workouts. It feels like a better Endorphin Speed. I wish it was closer to $150-160 tho. It would make so much more sense at that price point. The Peg 41 is just kind of basic. Good for beginners, but not as versatile as versions 37-40, which unfortunately makes it less useful for advanced runners outside of maybe easy runs with some strides. A good alternative would be the Mach 6. Similar cushioned feel but lighter weight and a little snappier.

Peg 39 was the last good one, i like it as my "nothing" shoe, its like a palate cleanser, and it lasts forever. 40 and 41 got heavier, makes no sense. The Plus right now makes no sense in terms of pricing, there is better stuff out there. On sale maybe i could try it. Getting both really doesnt make sense.

Been using the plus for workouts since I am not running in plated shoes right now. Works great except can sometimes feel rocks poking up into the forefoot on gravel

Cant recommend the pegasus plus. Something is off with the foam and the shoe isnt foot shaped which doesnt make it very comfortable.

Very good video... i have got neither, but i am even more sure now that i dont them ever! :) I love Peg turbo 35... still got one unused pair! Yea, Peg Plus is major let down for Peg Turbo fans! They could have just re-released peg turbo 35!!

how do u still have an unused pair? and why havent u used it? is there any shoe to this day that comes close to it or is it in its own class?

@@io-rj6sk I have had a few pairs stocked up... The zoomx that was used in the original vaporfly was also used in Peg Turbo 35, and it was plush! And, that made all the difference! Everybody is now into high stacks... peg turbo 35 and turbo 2 were relatively low to the ground, especially in the forefoot. However, they were light and snappy... the two foams complemented each other very well. Also, a durable shoe (if the foams dont seperate in the heel or if one just sticks them back together with some glue!!)! A very unforgettable shoe... you would want to walk around everywhere in them! If Nike re-releases Turbo 35 then it will still sell like hot cakes! And, if they use the same zoomx formula as in Peg 35 turbo but increase the stack height, manage the zoomx stability cleverly, ensure the foams dont seperate, it will make a better shoe than Asics Superblast (Superblast is Asics's Peg turbo) or any other daily trainer!

How does the Streakfly compare? Stack height of the Streakfly in the forefoot is higher than the Plus...

For that high price of the PP, I would rather go with a second pair of the amazing Invincible 3. But a plated daily trainer seems to be a better option for performance, durability and bprice . Like a Puma Deviate 3 or an Endorphin 4.

Get the Vomero 17 for cheap and wait for the Invincible 4 (Vomero Plus)
