I am an old man and grew up watching the original Transformers on TV. GI Joes and Transformers was my bread and butter growing up. I had quite the collection of GI Joes and now that has been replaced with my anime figure collection. So Gwyn has done her collection video, so now you are next. Looking forward to it.

Transformers always meant a lot to me, (along with Zoids,) being that taste of Japan in the U.S. from a time when anime/manga etc was not nearly as accessible. The bishoujo line is the PERFECT reminder of the Transformer's Japanese roots. I appreciate the 80's touches too, like Bumblebee's leg warmers. It was cool they referenced the toy source material too, like the G1 style packaging and the wheels on Prime's legs, (which do not exist on Prime's robot mode in the cartoon.) 😎

When I was younger my mom never let me buy transformers as they were too expensive, so I'd go over to my cousin's house and check out his collection and he'd let me play with them~ I always loved his Leader class Grimlock and TF prime Leader class Predaking! That Predaking was the apple of my eye in terms of awesome figures when I was little~ Coincidentally I've been doing the same as you are and was getting into transformers again recently (watching reviews, lore vids, figure news, etc)😂 Looking forward to see your Transformers collection grow~! 😁😁

Haha I love that Megatron. I'm not a huge fan of the Kotobukiya Bishoujo line but I just loved Megatron's design so much, I had to get her. ❤ She came with a big scuff on her foot though so I'm in the process of trying to exchange her. 😑 Also definitely keep the mask on Bishoujo Optimus, if makes her look much cooler 😆

Transformers is not my thing at all, but if your into it you should check out that Robeson Robotic Optimus Prime that transforms and listens to voice commands. It's really freaking cool. I was into TMNT and Thundercats as a little kid before DBZ, Kenshin, GITS, Inuyasha, Trigun, and Bebop showed me my forever home in anime/manga.

It was always so satisfying to see his plans go to shit in the cartoon. XD My faves are Shockwave and Soundwave. Cx Oh, and fuck Michael Bay for replacing the original twins Sunstreaker and Sideswipe with those bastardized hick versions he called Mudflap and Skids. Wtf. I was constantly hoping for their demise. I'll just stick with the cartoon versions.
