So whilst the story is likely different, I doubt the villain will be. A huge thing I wonder is if despite sharing a name with their first comic it is actually a sequel, and The Doctor has already met them, since said villain appears in the audios which are partly canon. (The Eighth Doctor audios being canon makes a whole lot of the audios canon due to interconnecting and overlapping storylines.)

This episode was so dumb it was amazing. Somehow this weird adorable Dobby-like creature with E.T. Fingers won me over completely.
