I honestly think they should have brought David Tennant and Catherine Tate back for one whole season. If RTD is going so far as to write Ten's return as the 14th Doctor as an integral part of the script, why not use him for longer. The show has been in a severe decline for years now as it bleeds viewers, but 1 more good season of Tennant in the role could be what is needed to save it. I'm not sure if Ncuti Gatwa has what it takes to carry the show, and reminding audiences of how good Tennant is in the role might not help him either. Gatwa has a hard act to follow.

This has made my weekend. Can’t wait for “star beast” sounds like a huge Beep the Meep story. “Wild blue yonder” is more vague but I think works well with the overall colour palette of the trailers. “The giggle” so simplistic and creepy. Totally convinced that Neil Patrick Harris is turning people into puppets. 10/10 trailer. Can’t wait for the 60th.

Well, they have been playing those characters for years before this already. Tate had her own spin-off series recently and Tennant is all over the place - stories with Rose, stories with Martha, stories with Donna, multi-doctor stories with Davison and McGann… They’ve both had years of warm-up for this and it shows.

i am really excited to see these but most in particular i am excited to see “Wild Blue Yonder” we’ve seen filming pictures and teasers of “The Star Beast” and “The Giggle” but not much of “Wild Blue Yonder” i think its going to be a very technical and theatrically scary episode about the wonders of both space and technology, because “REDACTED” always appears as a glitch and only appeared before the title shot of “Wild Blue Yonder” so perhaps could this be a more revamped and horrific version of “Sleep No More” with a more mysterious and creepy storyline?? I dont know but the mystery of this episode intrigues me soo much i cannot wait! now all we need is the release date of these specials

I feel like part of me will always love 10 because that was my childhood TV hero, more or less. But this new aged version of 10 (14) is really really growing on me. He got a lot more experience under his belt. A lot more secure with his emotions aswell plus; no time war guilt. This should be so interesting.

Could be wrong but from the colour palette of each 'section' it seemed to correlate with the title of each episode. Definitely for episode 2 it's been redacted and word on the grapevine says it's the one episode that is being kept the most secret. Not sure why but darn intriguing.

No matter what comes of Donna in these specials, I'm kind of glad we're getting one last go-around with her and the Doctor. The end of her story in series 4 was not only devastating, but I never quite felt a sense of closure with it that I felt with say, Rose, Martha, or Amy and Rory. Anyway, while I'm sure there's nothing necessary about any of this, I'll be watching anyway if for no other reason than to see David Tennant and Catherine Tate on my screen again.

But theres no evidence that it is and I don't believe it would fit for a anniversary special (that and the actual tardis set wasn't completed until near the end of filming for the 60th specials anyway). Its most likely the "ship" they were on in the other tralier.

I know that fans of Doctor Who that watched the end of ‘The Parting of the Ways’ when it first aired are going to be overjoyed at Tennant’s return. However, as someone who’s first episode was ‘Wedding of River Song’, I know I’m going to have the biggest smile on my face being able to experience David Tennant and Catherine Tate at the time the episodes first air. Very interested for the way the characters are going to be handled and the use of the Wrarth and the (supposed) Celestial Toymaker. I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited for a series of episodes and I can’t wait. Allons y!
