14th is like a more mature version of 10th Doctor with less of an ego. We can see that the Doctor has evolved after all this year

I think he just got the face again. 10th and 14th were completely different personalities.
@chazo136715 күн бұрын
@@niharikamishra_ This. 14 is more emotionally better. He isn't afraid to say he loves others, he is more emotionally open. His "I WILL get you home." To Donna is something 11 would do, the way he holds her hands and makes that declaration, that promise. You can feel he has been 11, 12 and 13 since and it shows in how he isn't the way he was at all as 10. 10 would always say "I'm always alright..." to push off concern. 14 is like "I will be...."
@NikhilluminatiOfficial15 күн бұрын
@@niharikamishra_No.. he's simply the more emotionally open and wearing his heart on his sleeves version of the tenth. Tenth hid all his insecurities and love for his friends behind the demeanor of a jovial man, with an ego, Fourteenth is simply far more openly emotional without one.

As John Hurt is the 9th Doctor (called himself the Doctor twice , and was called the Doctor by Tennant and Smith), Eccleston is 10, Tennant is 11, 12 & Meta-Crisis, Smith is 13, Capaldi is 14, Whittaker is 15, and Tennant is 15 and current incarnation (still alive).

For me, this incarnation of the Doctor is one of my favorites. He still has 10s charisma but is much darker than before and at points, he feels like 12 which I love. Tennant also never fails to amaze me, playing the role as if he never left.

I'm glad to see others that acknowledge Fourteenth's his own regeneration and not just 'Ten again', face is the same but he's different than Ten
@Creek93216 күн бұрын
I actually had the opposite interpretation. I thought 14 wasn’t nearly as dark as 10 could be. I think the biggest difference is that 14 doesn’t emotionally close himself off as much as 10 did.
@MrJ.Smith123415 күн бұрын
@@Creek932 Don't get me wrong, 10 is a really dark Doctor, the ending of Family of Blood shows that but I think his darkness was also balanced with his more charismatic, comedic side. The 14th Doctor has more darker moments than comedic moments, even when he's not doing anything, his face seems more emotionless than 10, but I suppose that could be just Tennant himself who's obviously more older now and can't be as physically active as he used to be.
@brianartillery15 күн бұрын
One of his best. And shortest - I did read somewhere, that his three stories up to his bigeneration, mean that his 14th incarnation as THE Doctor, rather than A Doctor lasts about 15 hours. I know he's still about, but happily 'retired'. Is his house name 'Dundoctoring', I wonder?

It was really lovely to see david tennant returning to doctor who as the fourteenth doctor, but what made it even better was that he wasn't just playing an exact copy of his previous tenth doctor! Yes there were similarities between them, there had to be, but there were also other elements of the other doctors there had been since the tenth doctor in his characterisation! It was lovely seeing his new dynamics with donna and her family and the fun and joy that david tennant brings to the role of the doctor is just perfection for me! ❤️❤️🔷😊

There's a scene in the book novelization of The Giggle where The Fourteenth Doctor Is buying the house he and the Nobles live in. It's a very funny little encounter, because at first he thinks he only needs to pay 20 bucks to buy a whole house, but once it's made clear to him that a house costs a lot more than that (although the owner Might be willing to negotiate), he phones up Unit And finds out that during his work there as the Third Doctor, They were legally required to open a savings account for him, and thus he's actually rich

I have been a fan of the Doctor since Tom Baker. Now, I’m a 70 year old man and still a fan of The Doctor. It’s been fun all of these years, watching the character change and grow. And I will continue to remain a fan. It’s exciting to see what’s in store for The Doctor. And now that Russell is back, it very exciting indeed. Thank you!!

@stevem.136013 күн бұрын
@ Woo, that’s going back a long time. I don’t remember the title, but I do remember it was the regeneration of the third Doctor to the forth. Doctor Who, in San Diego at that time, played on a kids TV show called Mr. Mimmican, weekdays at about 3:30. They would take a 75 minute episode of the show and break it up into five, individual little episodes for the whole week. Later, PBS took over running the show. Since it was a British TV show, it was considered adult art and should be run in PBS tv at the time. Later, I was able to see several episodes with the third Doctor and I enjoyed those very much. But I started really watching and enjoying the show with Tom Baker, my Doctor.

It was a big mistake bringing back Tennant, and worse making him the next Doctor. He should've just reprised his role as the 10th Doctor instead, if you really had to bring him back, and set his 'missing adventures' after The Day of the Doctor (following his wedding to Elizabeth I). Liberation of the Daleks is the best 14th Doctor story, which isn't saying much given how bad Davies's writing was; even then it could've been a 10th Doctor story easily - just remove all references to regeneration.

I frankly can’t believe how many fans enjoyed David Tennant’s return. I was so excited when I heard the news the he and Catherine were returning. What was presented was a ridiculous high-handed message. The Doctor has always been accepting of others. There was absolutely NO NEED to say his contribution was essentially meaningless because he’s a male-presenting Doctor. Stupid, pointless, and just plain old badly written “entertainment”.
