A wonderful movie about my very favourite woman - she was a great wise elder. I met her twice and the memories from these meetings i will treasure forever. Her wisdom guided me (and still does) through all the years of raising my puppies according to Nature's Laws - her books are a wonderful inspiration and this movie is certainly worth watching in its entirety

oh my goodness.... wow.... I was given a book by a friend several months ago and havebeen thumbing through it during bathtime (greatest time to read I say) and just this week since my Corgi got sick and had to rush her to ER which I won't even begin to tell you the $$$ it cost to save her,,,,,, I picked it up the book just to see what this author had to say and started reading it. The books is a wealth of information and well written... Its fascinating and truly as she declares in her book, shes truly unorthodox in her treatment for gastroenteritis or even diarrhea. Today while wanting to take a break from gardening, I wanted to watch a movie or something about women healers and I clicked on this video sorta out of the blue, not even reading who the documentary was about, then in less than 2 minutes into the documentary when the voice said "author of veterinary medicine" I ran and got my book to see if the author was the same... Well wadda ya know... it is.. I am stunned.. Amazing. The name of the book is "Herbal Handbook for Farm and Stable 1976 reprinted edition." My first appreciation of the book was more for the Materia Medica Botanica as I have been a long time Forager and am learning about their medicinal uses. I have 10 acres that have been unspoiled by the fast developing villages in our area. Truly this is a great book.. So much to rethink of how to respond to an illness and even for prevention of livestock and domestic animals and humans !!!!! I am thrilled to have found this video... Made my day !!!!
