I'm watching this while laying in bed with headphones on and from 28:56 to 29:30 It is soooo soothing...hearing the paper crackle and move under his hand. It's like a mental massage. I wish there were whole video of origamists plying their trade with no voice overs, just to hear the sounds of the paper.

@@dcxxxx I know I’m responding so long after your original comment and you’re probably not looking for this material anymore but if by any chance you’re still looking for some ASMR type videos involving origami, I’d suggest looking into Jo Nakashima’s origami tutorials. He doesn’t speak, he just folds so viewers can fold along. I’ve been following him since I was a kid and I’ve always found his vids soooo soothing

I am a mentor and educator and I show this to my students of every age. There is so much here to inspire one's journey it would be great to see a revisit to this aspect to the mystery of life. Is there a newly expanded film in the makes?

Seriously though... a point and/or question (or two); 1) Origami as an art form is just like any other, in the sense that it's big enough to have realists, impressionists, anarchists, technicians, etc. I don't see a problem there. 2) The chef told Chris Palmer, "Leave my hat alone!" 3) How about some *_really_* complex (& beautiful) origami pop-up books? 4) If 'Les Crimp' used crepe paper to start with, would that ruin their fun? 5) I hope some smart aleck doesn't start 3D printing origami. That'd wreck everything! 6) This is a very well-done & fascinating documentary! The works shown are beautiful, creative & amazing. Origami is truly a great art form. Thank you. :) Rikki Tikki.
