Thank you for giving us our historical background which is praiseworthy. Incidentally Brother Moschini also painted the St.Aloysius college chapel at Mangalore.A lot of tourists come see these paintings.

I'm praying for the restoration of our Church and global Christendom and the expulsion of these modernist infiltrator imposters from the hierarchical positions they have hijacked and usurped.

It’s very much evident that Hindu and Hindu rulers always supported and encouraged Roman Catholic community and Tipu sultan made our life hell but today’s irony and tragedy is that we have animosity towards Hindus and support Muslims 😂 I pity that
@juliankonkani5 ай бұрын
It is not us who have animosity against Hindus. It is the Hindus who have animosity against Christians. From the Catholic side, I've only seen distrust and animosity against Muslims. The difference with Kerala and Tamil Nadu is that most of the Hindus there oppose RSS while Tulunad is a bastion of Hindutva due to saffronization of the lower-castes and significant upper-caste demographic.

that was a great difference!! Hindu kings gave them land a nd allowed them to live peacefully but in Goa Hindus were butured tortured and forcefully converted

@@alani3992 The Hindus of Bardez migrated to Maratha territories and later some of them moved to Canara. Few Catholics joined them there because the Portuguese were in enmity with the Marathas and coming from Goa, Catholics were viewed with suspicion. Consequently, most went to Kanara where they were given land by the Keladi Nayakas. Salcette was poor due to famine, taxation and flight of the tax-paying Hindu commercial class. What's more is that Portuguese encouraged emigration to pave the way for Portuguese settlers to settle the land.

@@holyking0902I am definitely sure that Kanara Christian would prefer their current home town first than Goa, thats how the coastal Karnataka has warm heartily accepted them when they came while loosing their ancestors homeland Goa. We see people working 30-40 years in foreign land and finally settle only in Kanara as their land and even their RIP land.

@@akshaykumarshanbhogue9596 Your correct Because there is no unity,love among one another, running behind money saving First ourselves ,fighting. for this reason Goa lose its identity If you see any other states like Gujarat , Rajasthan or Kerala there is love for one another, unity they're kept on Growing. See there is no one 100% perfect, but we can learn from one another
